Shower head was terrible. Their service to Swiss days is a joke- they drop you off a few blocks away instead of right at the event. Other buses and vans drop off but no Zermatt. Very disappointing. We come because of Swiss days.

Very old and needs attention. The TV accepts only VGA cables. The furniture in the room was warn and damaged.

The location is at the base of the Wasatch State Park. It has a small carousel, mini golf, large chess; nature trail, and onsite rentals.

We love Z’s Restaurant, but due to many reasons outside the resorts control they’re only open Wednesday through Saturday so we were disappointed that it was closed when we arrived Sunday afternoon and the Lobby Restaurant and Bar are only open Thursday through Sunday.

Beautiful alpine lodge and campus with carousel and pond and giant chess board. Resort has deluxe indoor/outdoor pool, indoor hot tub has massaging waterfall. The resort has glassware in each room instead of plastic cups and the phones work to call the front desk and housekeeping.

Pleasant stay at a nice hotel in a beautiful location
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Queen Room with Two Queen Beds - Wasatch
    • Stayed 1 night

The front desk described our room as a "basic room." We were told it did not have a microwave or a mini-refrigerator. For the price - "basic room" or not - those amenities should be included, especially at a "resort" hotel like the Zermatt, and especially considering many (most?) lower priced brands have these two appliances in their guest rooms.

Nice pool. Room was comfortable and quiet, but not spacious. Good location. No free breakfast, but we had a very nice breakfast at Z's Restaurant, which is on site. Check-in and check-out very smooth.

I booked this hotel because they advertised a sauna and great restaurant. Needless to say, the sauna was not in working order for the time that I was there.Staff apologized And would have discounted me. But because I used booking dot com, they were not allowed. The elevator only worked one way up. I am 73 and had to carry luggage up the stairs. It was very hard.

All the staff working at this hotel, we're very kind and helpful. The location was very easy access to the town and the crater.

The restaurant choice has gone down from what it used to be years ago. Bar food is poor for the price and the pool really needs an overhaul big time. Take a look at The Homesteads new pool and facility. Zermatt used to make them look so bad but it might be the other way around now

We stay there quite often and always enjoy

Lack of dining options. American hotel so no dining room and poor cafe option for breakfast. No daily room cleaning- only every four days apparently unless specifically requested. I thought this odd…… 4 yrs on from Covid.

The hot tub outside was not working. The Z restaurant was not open at 3pm as indicated. We were hoping for some authentic European cuisine. The walls, doors, and baseboards were dinged up, scratched, scuffed, chipped. It simply appeared that the property was not well cared for and maintained. There was too much algae in the ponds. There was not enough variety in the cafe, pastries, chocolates, etc., we had hoped for some authentic Swiss chocolate options (we did visit the rocky mountain chocolate factory in town though, which was good).

I liked the swiss decor. We liked the location of the property and visited the hot springs and other locations in town.

The shower took awhile to warm up. Which was unfortunate after we got back from the hot tub. And because we got there on the off season, we had to go to restaurants off the property more than on the property but that was ok seeing as we liked to explore the city.

I loved the fireplace such a romantic way to end an evening. There was a lot of things to do and see around the property and in the cute little town. Immensely enjoyed this spot as a honeymoon spot.

The only thing I can say about this resort that was disappointing is the hot tub was so small and so crowded with bodies I didn't ever get to use it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big and nice, we especially loved the view from the balcony, and the fireplace. The kids also loved the pool.
