The property was very clean and the staff very friendly. I was satisfied with the room size and furniture. The breakfast fast was ok. I think the addition of fruits will be a good idea (I can’t remember seeing any). The air conditioner in my room (403) wasn’t cooling enough. I didn’t complain though, because it wasn’t a hot day.

Regular hotel with good service. The only problem is wifi. You have to work in the lobby, cause upstairs in the room there’s no signal.

The hotel is priced accordingly so there is nothing to complain about but the lobby and rooms are basically furnished.

The Oxford Hotel is a simple basic hotel. It has a good location and was spotlessly clean. It’s not a luxury stay but offers solid value for money. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming.

While the staff at reception and the housekeeping staff are friendly. The ladies at the breakfast counter are the most sullen, unfriendly and unkempt, dirty uniforms, unprofessional bunch I ever came across. Never a good morning or a please or thank you. Somebody should tell them that if there were no guests the would not have a job. Management should step up to the mark.

This is actually quite a nice hotel,despite some of the negative reviews, the room I stayed in on the 6th floor was recently refurbished, comfy bed, good shower and cleaned daily. Location is very good only a short walk to the main street. Found a wonderful restaurant on the same street, Paraguay. "Montevideo Al Sur" well worth a visit

location was awesome and easy to find. Travelled there with a car so offloading luggage before check in and parking was arranged perfectly. Breakfast was delicious and very easy to eat it quick (which matters a lot when you travel for business). Room was comfortable and everything in there made sense.

Lovely central hotel, front desk staff helpful, good breakfast, staff helpful for me to get hot water to drink, located two blocks from main st, short walk to old town, monuments, shops, restaurants.

The room was a little dark, and had an odd view. The stairs gets a little awkward at the lower floors, but there are two of lifts.

A well located hotel for getting to the old city, the central district and to the southern Ramblas. The rooms are of good size and the staff are accommodating with luggage.

The team were all wonderful and very helpful. The room and the bed were huge. They were very generous with the towels. The AC/heat worked very well and the controls were easy to use. Breakfast was very good. There was a mini refrigerator in the room. The hotel is centrally located.

when we checked in for a stay of 5 nights we were first given a room on floor 7 that hardly had any internet. Also the toilet was not flushing there. The next day we were given a much better room on the second floor with everything working but why were we given the bad room in the first place while the hotel was not full?

the central location was good, as was the room and the staff There were 2 elevators, so we did not have to wait long for one to arrive, the breakfast was okay.
