How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThere’s window and small balcony which makes the room looks bigger :) The hotel isn’t new, but the cleaning staff keeps it fairly clean. The staff were very supportive, and the security guard was lovely.
Since it’s an old hotel, there’s no soundproofing. We stayed for two nights, on the first night, the guests in the room next door played loud music and talked noisily until 1–2 AM. Kids running around screaming and slamming the door. The front desk did come up to remind them, but nothing changed. Our room also didn’t have hot water, so the staff had to move us to another room the next day. if you're looking for a quiet place to relax and get a good night's sleep, this might not be the best choice.

Verified reviewThe staff is supportive Location ok
corridor is very dark. I was assigned 901 if I didn’t remember it wrong, and on the side the sunlight was not very good. The door is difficult to close, and the room is very old. Stale smell hitted me when I get into the room and I become allergic. I arrived very late and felt very slept so slept there for one night and in the morning I want to cancel my booking for the following days. The staff said she can upgrade me to another room and showed me the room. It was better maybe because the sunlight is enough. But I still decided to leave. Can find a better one with the same price.

Verified reviewThe aircon flow was good, and it managed to cool the room down quickly, which was a necessity given the heat outside. The towels smelled fresh from laundry, and they provided us with water bottles and clean towels during our 2 nights stay. The staff was quick to problem solve when the initial room that was assigned to us didn't have hot water. She reassigned us to another room within the same hour and ensured it was having hot water.
The hotel needs upgrading as it looked very unkempt and old. The room floor was dirty, and by the looks of it, it wasn't cleaned at all. The bed lining was also spotting stains. The room that was allocated to us didn't have hot water running, and the technician who came by informed us that it happened whenever it rains in the city, which was perplexing for us. Thankfully, the issue was resolved by a change of room. However, the new room bed appeared to be broken as when we lie on it, it sinked in the middle. Location was also a little far from the walking streets and main attractions.

Verified reviewClean and comfortable hotel with a great location not far from the beach. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. For the price, the value is excellent compared to many other places in Da Nang. Would definitely stay here again!

Verified reviewEverything in the hotel and our room was good and exactly as advertised. The room was clean when we checked-in. We stayed only for two nights, so room service was not really necessary, still the next day our room was cleaned, which was appreciated :) There are plenty of smaller and larger eateries and groceries around (if you prefer Vietnamese food, check Mộc Viên just around the corner). Overall location of the hotel is very convenient if you are not planning to WALK the beach too often. If you have a bike or a car - it will take you less than 5 min to get to the closest My Khe beach.
The mattress was a bit stiff for my liking :/ There is a Karaoke bar just across the street that might disturb light sleepers - if you are one of them, make sure to take sleeping ear plugs with you. If you are unlucky to stay along with loud neighbors, just beware that you will hear them well - soundproofing is not ideal :) The fridge in our room cooled canned drinks only slightly - not ice-cooled.

Verified reviewAll of the staff were nice and friendly, reception, cleaning ladies and the happy man at security :-) I stayed for 2 weeks in 2 different rooms which were both clean and comfortable and the wifi worked well. The location was very good and very walkable to get around. I would definitely stay here again.

Verified review-The superior rooms are nice and clean -The lift, AC, fridge and WiFi work perfectly -The man in blue shirt working outside of the hotel is the loveliest person I have met in Vietnam.
During my check-in I was surprised to see that no one from the reception took my suitcase and showed me my room. First time in 15 years and 50 countries visited that I am given the key and have to carry my suitcase and find my room alone. Everything was good for the 3 first nights I had booked, I even extended my stay (+5 nights)on Booking, but at the end of my third night a lady came to my room at 11am to tell me my checkout was in one hour. when I showed her the extension on my Booking app, she tried to give me a standard room that was inferior to the superior I had booked. Even worse: when she left my bedroom She took the card of my current room while it was not checkout time yet, that was extremely humiliating to be treated like a profiteer. I had to come to the reception and argue 15min with them, and finally showing the pictures of the room I had booked, for them to treat me with respect (they upgraded my room finally) Even though I appreciated the upgrade I still remember the humiliation and the argument before being treated like a customer and not like a parasite
