Great family run hostel with homemade breakfast and helpful staff. We really loved that the hostel is located within an area with many great restaurants and shopping opportunities. When we arrived, we even got a list of recommended restaurants and activities.

The rooftop was messy and dirty

Big rooms with ac all day if you want, also they have balcony in the rooms, super comfortable stay, 2 convenience stores nearby, super handy

Clean, modern, comfortable, well-thought-out place. Easy to reach plugs, personal light bulb and shelf, big bathroom inside each room, and great staff. Easy 10/10

Friendly, helpful staff Comfortable bed Shining common area with RO water filtering machine, instant/powder coffee, and a line of bamboo chairs/tables I love the cleanliness and modernity of the bathroom, 1 rain shower, 1 handheld shower, glass shower enclosure, so I didn't feel cramped

One of the best hostel I’ve stayed at on this 3 month journey across 6 countries. Couldn’t recommend enough. Location is wonderful. Guy at the front desk is super cool and place is state of the art for a hostel.

The location is not obvious (no big sign) No menu for breakfast the one included was vegetarian.

Few kinks just from my perspective. Keep in mind, I only stayed a night. - My bed didn't have an individual light, and the charging point was out of reach. That made it tough for me on the top bed. - The bunk beds could use another bottom step, it was a bit of a jump when climbing down.. especially with my phone torch at night. It's a single metal bedframe for two beds, so every time I got on or off, I felt like I was rattling the whole thing and disturbing the downstairs neighbour. - Not uncommon in HCM hostels, there isn't an elevator. It could be a lot of stairs, in case that's a problem for you. It was a nice house in a quiet street. A few fitments and customisations in the rooms would be great.

- It’s a new property. Very neat and clean, well-maintained. - Staff is friendly and gave good suggestions. Met the owner Ha, and he's got the right mindset to host backpack travellers. - It's in a peaceful neighbourhood with good eateries around. It was good to be away from the loud, tourist areas and walk around. Still close enough to everything by Grab. - Good size room with lockers. The bed also had a little table. And the bathroom was very clean and big. - I liked the common area to hang out near reception, and to leave your luggage. - Free water, coffee and all those hostel basics were in place. - Great value for money.

I don’t understand moving the curtain and checking the bed or whether someones in there every morning. It was the only thing that disturbed me.

The host is very friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day. Every day different breakfast. Good value for money.

The rooms can be a bit hot at times, but I think that is just the nature of being in Vietnam.

The hostel owner is very kind and all of the staff are happy to help in any ways they can. Very good stay for my first hostel in Vietnam. Hope I can come back some day.

The dorms, cleanliness, the free heritage walk around the city, the hosts. It is located very near to the bus stand. Food stalls and restaurants are nearby, with a lot in walking distance.

The rooms were big and modern with comfortable king single bunks and curtains for privacy. There were security codes for the doors so I didn’t have to worry about a key or keycard!. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful! Thankyou!

This free tour is not included in the price as you can have the same when you book a free tour through the browser (still paying a tip is expected), and I was only one person during the tour when I expected to meet a lot of people. I wouldn't book this trip if I knew that I was only one person. The hostel shouldn't advertise themselves with a free tour if it is not organised by them.

Only negative is that the breakfast is not really enough food e.g. half a banh mi with some watermelon. I left a little hungry on 2/3 mornings, had to buy a snack.

Rooms are clean, have enough room and most importantly, the aircon is definitely sufficient! Lots of places to eat nearby, nearby to a bus stop, staff are helpful as well. The shower and toilet are in the same room but with a barrier, so you don't have to worry about getting water everywhere. Breakfast is different everyday!
