Property could have been maintained better. Garden looked neglected. Room service can be better. One day there was very bad stench coming from the garden in front.

Staff were very friendly. They tried to make is comfortable all the time. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. Location was good, pretty close to the main road.

Wonderful place to stay with family…..Stayed for 2 weeks and it felt like home. Got very good service with very co-operative and friendly staff, good food. Overall perfect place to stay at Bauhinia resort. The beach is nearby only. The pool was clean. The best part is the location!!! its in the centre of the island between the Sunsent town and Vin wonders, both are at 30 mins distance from the resort. Breakfast was good. The lady chef Miss Quin she made the eggs according to me. Also Miss Minh at the reception was there for any assistance required. Also Halal restaurant were close by. The night market is 20 mins walking and the main road shops and restaurants were at 1-2 min walking distance. Would highly recommend this resort.

We had to carry our luggage ourselves. The lady at reception was helpful, but it was still a bit difficult with heavy bags. Also, the key card for the door wasn’t working, and using the manual keys was slightly inconvenient.

I really liked the location — very central and easy to commute from. There were several Indian restaurants nearby, which was super convenient. The breakfast had a good selection of vegetarian options, which I appreciated. Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money stay!

Staff were very helpful and the reception was 24/7. We rented bikes from the resort and had two great days with them, it was really easy to organise with the staff. We were given fresh towels and water bottles every day and the location was brilliant! Would definitely recommend!!

The room wasn't very private unless you kept the curtains closed. The room looked out over the pool and the reception/breakfast/kitchen area, which tended to be noisy at certain times of the day. The bathroom was different considering you could look out to the rooms beyond, no blinds (see photo).

Good location to the main street in Phu Quoc. The hotel is lovely, open and airy. Breakfast has a good choice to choose from. The room was a good size. Lovely pool to cool down in.

Don’t worry about the breakfast. Massively overpriced. There is the most lovely lady selling iced coffee, delicious fresh juice, Bahn mi and noodles for a fraction of the price.

They dont have any cabin to keep the cloths inside the rooms. Only we can hang the cloth.

I like the place really well the ambience and the location the resort is perfectly good, it near to all the place as it center or the island.

The walk from the hotel to the sea was indeed quite long — around 10 minutes to a private beach near the “Hawaii” hotel. I wasn’t sure whether it was actually a private or public beach, since it wasn’t swimming season and there was no one there. When it rained, the road was covered in water and mud, so it was inconvenient to walk — my clothes got dirty from the splashes made by my flip-flops. There were also ants...

I arrived during the rainy season, so there weren’t many people around. I can't say what it's like during the tourist season, but my solo trip was amazing. The staff was very friendly and responded to any request. The location is stunning — no noise from the roads, just trees and vibrant nature all around. My room was cleaned daily to perfect cleanliness, and fresh bottles of water were provided every day.

The only issue we encountered was related to the TV, which was experiencing an issue with the USB port (which we were not using), causing an error display on the TV and frequent restarts.

Min and Dana were excellent hosts and very accommodating, and extremely helpful. Their recommendations, such as eating at A-C Noodles for Pho and a few Bahn Mi locations, were very helpful and enjoyable.

It is easy for some people to focus on the negatives but from our experience there were no major issues. We had a good experience at Bauhinia Resort.

The room was a good size for 2 adults and 1 child. The queen bed was very comfortable but the frame for the single bed was squeaky. We fixed this by removing the frame. The air con was excellent. It is so good to enter a cold room after being out in the heat all day. The staff are great and were very helpful with our requests including organising motorbikes for us at a good rate. The breakfast had plenty of options for most peoples tastes with a variety of hot and cold dishes and a different Vietnamese soup each day. They also offer lunch but unfortunately no dinner option. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat of the day and whilst some of the furniture is getting old the pool itself was clean and refreshing.

The towels were so old though hahahah, even though they felt and look clean. But second batch of towels smell like barbecue for some reason.

The room was very clean. The staff mop the floors and clean the bathrooms properly. Room was comfortable and spacious with nice wooden furnitures. Pool was clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, but not overbearing like another reviewer mentioned. Makes the stay very comfortable.

Booked a room which was on the second floor with 4 flights of stairs so we paid extra and moved to a bungalow in the garden. The bungalow was spacious, comfy bed big bathroom/wet room. It has a good size pool with sunbeds.Breakfast was adequate. It is situated a short walk to the main street and Beach . The staff are amazing,a big thank you to the girls on reception for their kindness and help. We would come back here.
