Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaBathrooms are a bit dated and hot/cold shower tap is worn out.
The staff was very friendly and supportive. Breakfast buffet was exceptional good with a wide variety of cuisines present. We also used the massage special on offer and we will recommend the SPA staff for their great service.

SwedenIt is notisable that they are somewhat declining and maybe struggeling to get profits. The breakfast is just ok nothing more. The TV in the room is a small Sharp tv and shall we say, not so sharp, you can get one for simple dollars on the secondhand market. The wifi is bad even though we paid for best wifi service. We did not get the 10% reduction on the bill for drinks and food witch was included in the room, I did not want to argue about it, but anyway. The cleaning of the room left more to wich for, for example the floors were not vacumed or swiped even if we every day put away all our stuff so there should be no clutter in the way.
If you understand that this is an old high quality hotel but dated you will have a good stay. The room we had must be one of the biggest you can get, three toilets, two double rooms, a small kitchen and a living room! Very comfy beds and high quality linens.

AustraliaThe facilities are a bit tired. The pictures are generous. The location is a bit far from old town and can be a bit hard to navigate. There are restaurants close by but it’s not as easy to just walk out, you need to rely on Grab.
We had a two bedroom apartment and the space was brilliant. We had terrible weather so had to stay inside, given this the indoor pool was brilliant. Breakfast was good. Staff were all lovely.

The apartment was very large and liked that even though on floor 15 we could open windows. Let us hang all day waiting for airport transfer.

AustraliaOne of the main reason to book this property was its Japanese style swimming pool. Sadly it was under maintenance during our stay. We haven’t been informed beforehand. Reception staff took our complain seriously and tried their best to compensate. As a result, we got early check in too so we can use shower. Vegetarian breakfast options were limited. Water bottle was expensive in hotel. Just get it from across the road. Kitchen didn’t have any cleaning material to clean our dishes. Travel packages offered by hotel was very expensive compared to market’s travel agent.
Property is at perfect location for those who doesn’t want to stay in old quarter. I didn’t want to stay right in downtown but neither too far from it. We had few hiccups upon checkin but we’ve been heard and issues sorted promptly. Breakfast was extensive but limited options for vegetarian. Convenient store was just across the road.We have used spa centre everyday. They were great. Majority Staff could speak English so easy to communicate. Both rooms had beautiful view. Both bathrooms had all basic amenities. I got bargain rates and I would consider as value for money. Hanoi has lot to explore during day and at night. We couldn’t make most out of hotel stay.

KenyaThere was nothing significant that I disliked during my stay.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and honest, going above and beyond by returning our bag left in the restaurant. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. The location was convenient and well-situated for exploring Hanoi. The facilities were excellent, the location was great, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.

United KingdomPool area needs to be refurbished soon, as it looks quite outdated. Despite being upgraded to a one bedroom service apartment, the internet router was in the lounge, causing the wifi to be super weak in the bedroom, had to sit in the lounge to get an internet connection and on top of that the connection was quite weak (15mbps). A minibar with drinks and snacks would have been nice given a fridge was included in my upgrade.
Was upgraded from deluxe room to a one bedroom serviced apartment. It was a very nice unexpected upgrade, where my room was on a high floor (16th floor) with my own lounge and kitchen as well as internet router for the whole room. Breakfast was perfect and included in my stay which included both a Western and a Vietnamese breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. Great location, easy to order Grab taxi from the app.

AustraliaThe general feel and facilities felt a little dated. The location wasn't good for us, unfortunately we realised afterwards that staying in the Old Quarter would have been much better. We couldn't find a place for a massage or dinner within walking distance.

PhilippinesEven though it is big and spacious still they haven’t clean it well. The chairs have a dirt in every corner and also a bit dusty. But all in all our stay is okay. Hope they will clean it properly next time.
The room is big and spacious. Thanks for the free upgrade of my room to super deluxe room. About their free breakfast buffet is superb, you have a lot of options and what I like most is their seafoods like shrimp 🍤. Because of that I still like to go back to stay again there.
