Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. The location is convenient to walk to all the attractions. Additionally, the weekend market is conveniently located right at your doorstep. Beds were comfortable. Despite the chaos outside, their windows are soundproof. Overall a lovely stay.

AustraliaCommunication between staff. I'd paid the day I arrived but the staff was unsure of whether I had paid when I left. Please upgrade processes so that customers don't get questioned as to whether they have paid or not when they are about to leave. It put a dampener on the whole stay.
This was a great hotel and I was very pleased with my choice. The suite I booked looked exactly like the photos, it was very comfortable. There were heaps of power sockets, some already with USB outlets which made charging things so much easier. The breakfast was also really good and the staff supplied me with a breakfast to take with me when I had an early trip to Ha Long Bay.

Also the bath tub had to be filled up with the shower head and we found it leaked very badly so had to use our towels to clean up the water. Other than this it was a very comfortable hotel

I asked where I could buy a SIM card and I called in a guy to sell me one. They helped me book all my tours and a bus to Cat Ba Island when I left. The service was extraordinary.

AustraliaDuring our first night, the AC was not working properly. We tried to call reception, but the telephone in the room didn’t work either; there was no dial tone. We weren’t able to go down to inform reception since we were so tired and arrived very late from Sapa. So it was quite warm while we were sleeping. The next day, we informed the reception, and they took immediate action. Even though the room is quite spacious for a triple room, since we had three large luggages, there wasn't enough space to open them in the room. Maybe the hotel should consider removing some furniture in the room so that guests can have more space to walk and open their luggage.
The hotel is located in the old quarter area and is very accessible to all shops, local restaurants, and transportation. Every weekend, there is a night market, and this hotel is conveniently situated just in front of it, which is very nice! We booked a triple room on the 6th floor. The room is quite spacious, and the beds are comfy too. The staff were so friendly; cheers to Stephen and Nas, as they were very accommodating to our needs and requests. It was kind of them to allow us to leave our big luggage at the hotel for 3 days free of charge since we were traveling to Sapa. This hotel offers a good price and a good breakfast too! I highly recommend this hotel! It's just a few minutes' walk to Beer Street and cafes around. I love how this hotel is very accessible to everything—shopping, cafes, and tourist attractions. We will definitely be coming back.

United KingdomThe hotel is placed in the heart of the Old Quarter but in our room it was quiet. The room is pretty small but in this area it seems to me its a norm. The breakfast was OK. As everywhere in Vietnam, if you want to pay by card, on the to there will be 3%. There was a mistake in charging extra. When we checked a bank account and then contacted the property, they sent a difference to the next hotel where we were staying.

AustraliaIn my room there was a constant high pitched humming noise whenever the lights were on which became unbearable after a couple of nights. The shower head had visible mould inside and the shower door was difficult to close. It would be nice if there was some outdoor furniture on the balcony since there was none.
The breakfast was very basic but there were lots of other options within minutes walk. The wifi was excellent and the room was pleasant. The balcony had a great view.
