Nothing that we didn't like Like all old buildings in built up cities there will always be maintenance work needed but we can honestly say there was Nothing here to disturb our stay. The Location, Hospitality were second to none Most of all - The Staff were the Best Jimmy, Kim and All the staff we met are just Amazing in their Hospitality skills - we will never forget the Welcoming they all gave us. Jimmy from the word go - answered All my queries before even getting to the hotel - which we found a great relief, comfort as seniors - he is professional, helping abs friendly. Kim helped us with booking our tours - made recommendations- wd totally enjoyed the Jeep trip And full day trip to Ha Long Bay -- Fabulous- Both trips Thank you Jimmy, Kim and other hotel staff for a truly memorable stay - Your Sfaff are Amazig and should be valued they are your Main asset (they wo uld be very welcome to Best wishes Olive & Dennis

Our room was comfortable and considering we were right in the heart of the Old Town it was very quiet. The aircon worked well. Bathroom had a lovely large shower, water temperature just right for us, towels provided were spotlessly clean - toiletries were provided - although we just used our own. Breakfast offered a wide selection - you could order your eggs whatever way you wanted - poached, omelette, sunny side up - the fruits selection was just amazing , there are Vietnamese food options in addition to European- if you complain about anything here - there's something wrong with the way you view life Few of us were brought up to this degree of Comfort and needs being met - for the price this hotel is deserving of praise.

For a couple of mornings during breakfast, someone was in the kitchen loudly coughing and "hocking." A bit off putting for people trying to enjoy a healthily prepared meal.

Right in the heart of the old quarter, but not on a main street so the noise was minimal. The staff were very accommodating making sure I had everything I needed. I went on a cruse to Ha Long Bay, having to check out for a couple of days and they even offered to hold my bags for me when I was gone. They even accommodated me when I needed a late checkout. Friendly and personable. Well worth the price of the stay! Delicious breakfast.

The lovely staff… felt like family, the fabulous location in the very heart of everything, the quiet room in spite of it looking out on the crazy madness of Hanoi, the amazing breakfasts and the oh so comfortable beds and perfect air conditioning. So many beds in Vietnam are as hard as boards… good for you I know but not for me! These beds so comfortable.

Firstly, the staff were absolutely incredible, they were always ready and happy to help in any way possible. The location was also excellent. Just off any major streets, it was quite quiet, but still very close to major attractions and the Ho Hoan Kiem lake. The breakfasts were quite nice too. We cannot wait to return.

Nothing negative to say. Everywhere in Hanoi is humid and eggs for breakfast seem to be on order everywhere.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very pleasant staff. Kim was super helpful, friendly and accommodated all our requests. The location couldn’t be better. Relatively quiet road but 2 min walk to the main shipping street and night market. We upgraded to a better room for free, just because they could. This was such a nice stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Hanoi Dalvostro Valentino Hotel & Spa. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with lovely balconies that made for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of the city, surrounded by lively streets full of restaurants, bars, and nightlife. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the outstanding staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. A special thanks to Sophie at the front desk and Jimmy, who organized our tours to Sapa and Ha Long Bay—both went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt well taken care of at all times. I came with my family, and we all left extremely satisfied. A hotel that truly cares about its guests. Highly recommended!

The lovely terrace was unfortunately closed, possibly due to renovations. The breakfast included some western choices, though items like scrambled eggs are available upon request.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel, which offered a touch of luxury to start my Vietnam trip. While the room was of high standard, the real highlight was the exceptional service. The manager, Jimmy, assisted with booking activities for the days ahead and made sure that everything went smoothly even after I had checked out. The only small thing we came across was the hot water in the showers seemed to take a long time to come through. In saying that Hanoi was extremely hot while we were there, so the cooler shower was welcome at times

The staff at this property are excellent. Everyone is happy, friendly, and always there to help with any questions in the area, whether that be attractions, shopping, or eateries. Their service is exceptional. The location is terrific, being very close to the lake, in a reasonably quiet lane in the old quarter of Hanoi.

Tuan (Jimmy) Kim, Sophie and the rest of the team are amazing nothing was too much trouble for them. They made our stay very special. Best front of house I have every experienced anywhere in the world. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, The room was clean and comfortable (Aircon Fabolous) . The hotel's location was ideal, with great access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, we'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable. I used the Laundry a few time very reasonably priced all my cloths came back perfectly cleaned and pressed.

The staff were amazing and exceptionall. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. From Kim and the reception team. Otis and the catering team. They were all so helpful and friendly. The food was good too. They made breakfast boxes for us as we had to leave early

We arrived at midnight and the streets were dark, not the fault of the hotel but made us feel uncomfortable as the taxi refused to leave us by the hotel’s door and left us to walk one block away on a dark street at midnight. Nothing to do with the hotel but we did not understand why the taxi refused to go through that street. During the day was an amazing and colorful site, we liked the street.

The property was clean, location was right but the Old part of town, breakfast buffet variety was great and the staff was supper friendly. They all anticipate your needs and even the four staff that were at the reception came all outside and gave us a farewell/goodbye, waving and smiling until the taxi left.

The cocktail bar nd bar staff were amazing but drinks just a little expensive ... my fault I think for missing happy hour ! Can't really fault this hotel .

The staff were amazing . So helpful recommending what to do where to eat etc. So polite and attentive... some of the best service I have ever experienced... from bar, reception, dining and cleaning staff ... all brilliant and made the stay memorable. The location was perfect 2 min walk from the lake . I was worried about a room with no windows ... but it was perfect ... my previous hotel in Saigon was so noisy with bikes and cars ... had fantastic sleep in large air conditioned rooms cut off from outside noise. And in addition to Asian breakfast had western breakfast with best sausages and bacon I could have in Vietnam . Laundry service was quick and efficient and welcome after two weeks in Vietnam. Would definitely stay again 😃
