Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

VietnamThe smell of essential oil when first entering the room. Lemongrass is too strong for sensitive person, especially when you arrive after a long road trip.
Everything seems Ok. The room is comfortable. Facilities are Ok.

MalaysiaI hate everything Doi dep touch the foods, they do not know how to cook, and more importantly, Doi dep use the not fresh and very low quality material s to cook. They have no ideas how to cook western foods. And they also do not cook good Vietnamese foods.
The breakfast is not good, but I learned that because the meal is supplied by Doi dep. I think Doi dep does not know how to make a buffet breakfast for a hotel like Du Parc Dalat - very old and traditional hotel, in the past Novotel made the hotel reputation. Now Doi dep ruined and damaged the reputation of this hotel. Doi dep , please leave Hotel Du parc ! Doi dep - you cannot earn fame from Du parc , so please let the visitor enjoy the real breakfast not with Doi dep. Please!!!

United StatesFloors were a bit dusty and things were a bit run down/pieced together. It’s an older hotel from the French colonization days but frayed wiring, dust on floors and mold in the caulk are preventable IMO. Also, the shower drain was awful. Filled up the tub within seconds of turning water on to shower.
Staff was very courteous and attentive whenever we saw them in the lobby and return/departing from the hotel.

CanadaSmall dining room with limited menu. This may improve as tourists return. Otherwise, we liked everything!
Lovely French Colonial hotel, helpful staff (receptionists spoke English), fabulous buffet breakfast included, spacious rooms with high ceilings and the original 1932 elevator was great fun to ride! Well-priced, located in quieter area of the city and away from the central market area. I asked for a quiet room and was given a corner room near the back of the hotel with 2 sets of windows. It had a bath and shower, cable TV and all the amenities-even a razor with a tube of shaving cream! And lots of hot water! The breakfast room on the lowest floor was beautifully set up with a patio area at one end. The huge buffet breakfast was excellent and also included a cook who cooked eggs for you any way you liked including omelettes. The head waiters even wore black suits! The young waiters and waitresses were VERY keen to learn English so please speak with them-lovely people!!

SingaporeOld. Facilities all feel old. From the room door lock, to the toilet, to the cabinets and overall decor, furniture and TV. But some people may like this old school charm.
Quiet location. Staff were responsive, friendly and helpful. Could book many rooms close together since travelling as a large group. There are connecting rooms available. Have bath tubs. Hot water runs without disruption.

South KoreaFrom the moment of entering, no welcoming atmosphere. Staffs face says "I don't care about you. Don't bother me. I am busy with my phone". No greetings at all in the lobby. Breakfast was with many items but poor presentation. Service staffs here also showed "I don't care" expression. Throughout the breakfast, only 1 male staff (Mr. Quang Vinh) was busy with guests, assisting & engaging. Other staffs gethered at the corner, drinking coffee, tea & chit chatting around. They put us in the middle of group tour rooms. We had a terrible night with noise. No coutesey at all when allocated the room. The hotel signage showed "Since 1932" but almost a century history faded by the poor staffs.
The location. A good old feeling.

MalaysiaCleanliness could be improved especially the carpeted areas. The shower area certainly needed a look at as the glass shield by the bathtub exacerbated the water splashing problem...the entire floor may just be wet. I had to do a bit of "re-engineering" by putting a hand towel at the glass/ tub joint to channel the water flowing down the glass to the tub instead of out onto the floor.
Enjoyed my stay at Du Parc and fancied the old parisian lift. It's like being transported back in time staying in this hotel, which was my intention. Some English channels to watch during the night. Location was good with St Nicholas Cathedral a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent. Such a variety as expected.
