Loved the hosts, the location, the cleanliness, rooms, laundry etc. They went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed and give us a map and tour of the city. They even helped me collect packages while I was traveling so I could fly home with them. the warmth and love I felt visiting here kept us coming back!

Very helpful owner, give a lot of advice about city, recommended perfect, v.v. cheap place to eat ( place where locals eat- we, 6 persons, were perfect after dinner). The room is very tidy, our was on 2 floor, without lift, but for such a price in this localisation it is normal

A very nice place owned by such a lovely couple who made my four night stay very nice. There are only two rooms on each floor so the only neighbors I had were above and below. My room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet with good AC and a large fridge. And it is located in an alley a good distance away from busy streets.

I enjoyed my stay here! My room was quiet and clean, with appreciated essentials: fridge, fan, and AC and a nice little veranda you could walk out onto. The guest house owners are very kind and helpful, and their map and recommended route of District 1 was much appreciated! Convenient location tucked away in a quiet alley.

The beds were very hard just to highlight but it was ok for us we didn't mind.

Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Felt very safe. Spacious clean room with air con and fan. Good shower. Fridge in room. Balcony. Location was perfect within walking distance to everything. It was quiet giving the location is around the corner from a busy street.

Wonderful guest house. I had so good experience. The couple was very welcoming, explained me the city and major places to visit, connected me with a local tour guide and eventually I had a very good experience thanks to this guest house. I sure that my trip was different if I was staying on another place.

Small thing - the shower hot water was from solar so in the morning it was lukewarm.

Old school family-run guesthouse off a tiny alley in district 1. You walk straight into the owners' second living room. They look after you. Surprisingly peaceful given the location.

Lovely little hotel tucked away in District 1. Down a laneway so quiet at night, but a quick walk to party street and other attractions (eg markets, War Remnants Museum). Run by lovely very helpful elderly couple with execellent english.

It has a perfect location and very nice owners. They let us checkin very early when we came by night bus from Da Lat. Maybe this is to a high-end hotel, but has everything you need for the stay. Just outside the door on the street, you can eat a delicious breakfast (find Hu Tieu Nam Vang) and have perfect coffee in Yên89. Highly recommendable!!

- There is no elevator, so it might be difficult for people having walking difficulties - There was only one small hand soap, would have been great to also have some shower gel and/or shampoo in the bathroom

- Owners are super nice and friendly, ready to help and answer all the questions - Location absolutely great, very close to the main lively street (yet very quiet) and the bus stop (to go to the airport and tunnels) as well as the city center are within walking distance (10min and 20min respectively) - Room big and spacious

Conveniently located between Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien (party) Streets, yet tucked in Alley 217 providing for a quiet location. Room was minimal, (it's a guest house), with a small balcony, yet had everything for a comfortable stay. Great A/C accompanied by a ceiling fan. Owners are the best, as you will not find a nicer couple providing outstanding support for your time with them. I was warmly and enthusiasticly met, and then proceeded to be shown highlighted areas to visit along with an accompanied map.

Very gracious hosts, who provide everything you will need and more in this tidy, organised and spacious guest house set in a quiet side street within the beating heart of District 1. Great value for money, would highly recommend anyone in Ho Chi Minh City to stay here. Would love to stay again.

The owners made this stay perfect, very welcoming and ready to help us with whatever we needed. Pointed us in the direction of what sights to see, and really helped us out with our sleeper bus booking when it all went wrong. 😅 The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, the nights were quiet even with being so close to the walking street. Would have stayed here longer if we had the time.

Beds were a little firm and wet room was a bit basic but did the job.

Anh and his wife Anh are absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. Anh sat us down on arrival and went through the city map with us (which was incredibly useful) and marked it with key locations we knew about but importantly told us the easiest walking route. He offered us some tour guides but even though we’d pre decided we were going to do the Cu Chi tunnels he insisted we go and shower and relax before committing to it and later he arranged it for us on request and the driver came to get us from the downstairs lounge. The laundry was cheap at 25k/kg and they didn’t rush us for payment - we had to insist on paying before the day we left as we didn’t want them to get up to meet us when we had an early start (they did anyway!) Honestly such lovely people, helpful without being intrusive, we would definitely recommend. Rooms are on a small alleyway off the main loud street of clubs but you can’t hear ANYTHING at all and this makes the place perfect, cheap cheap street food on the alleyway as well.

Owner Diep is back and he and his wife have renovated and reopened Diep Anh Guest House. The tiny lobby is tucked behind secure doors in the alley just down from crazy busy Bui Vien Walking Street. Fifteen years in business, very clean guesthouse rooms are minimally furnished but everything works. Stairs up a big mahogany staircase to three floors of big rooms, Third floor room quiet. Lovely hosts who share stories.

The hosts were true gems, welcoming and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us, I.e. laundry, access to hot water, coffee, tea. The guesthouse is tucked in in a friendly and convenient laneway, which comes alive early in the morning for inexpensive eats and excellent coffee. Excellent location to restore, bars, nightlife, airport bus.

Having to leave after only three nights 😢

A lovely, well run hotel. The owners are delightful & couldn't have done anymore for us. We arrived later than expected in the early hours of the morning after a long journey. They said, no worry to checking now, leave it until after you have slept. A great location just off the crazy fun of Walking Street but so quiet in the accommodation.
