Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Portugal- not so soundproof - just be aware there are narrow stairs. It’s okay for 95% of people, but not accessible to those with mobility issues who can’t climb stairs - no window in room but that’s expected at this price
- location: close to the old quarter - you get to experience the iconic narrow alleyways of Hanoi when entering the building - nice bed - very kind and helpful staff! Make you feel very welcome. The service is above and beyond. - laundry service available and they’ll help you with any problems you have - good value - helped with airport transfer, which is very appreciated

United KingdomYou have to enter an alley and it’s a bit of a walk to the actual entrance of the hotel, it was a bit of a pain to carry my luggage there
Location is great, in the heart of the old quarter

FranceThe hotel is a bit dated, but it’s very well located, just a short walk from the lake and the town center. Unfortunately, the neighbor’s dog barked almost all night, which made our stay difficult. Our host was attentive and understanding, but the issue continued. It’s a shame, because the location is truly great

The staff were the best! They were so helpful and responsive via WhatsApp, giving really clear instructions on how to access the property, and went above and beyond with looking after our bags after checkout while we went on a day tour.

IndonesiaThe floor bathroom is slippery and meanwhile there are no slippers in my room. Downstairs in the living room there were 3 nice slippers yet not in my room (301). So i used my own which is a bit dirty for the floor🤦 The stairs were too narrow yet still manageable (i had injuries so it was a bit hard to bring my big backpack). Big luggage? Goodluck! 😅 No water offering in the room. No public toilet in the living room, so good luck with early check in or late check in... Go to the nearest cafe! No cctv in the living room. Be careful to leave unattended luggage. The wall is too thin. Our room was not near the road, yet the alarm and people talking next door can be heard from our room even though the window/ ventilator was closed. Wi fi was not that good. Luckily my friend had his e-sim so he could do vc for working. The fan in the shower room makes a 'frog' noise. They said it will be fixed soon.
The linen was superb!! Quite fancy and comfortable. I was impressed with the material of the fabrics, including the towel. I loved it so much. The location was very nice. The interaction with the management was pretty good through whatsapp even a bit confusing and misunderstanding. Nice couch in the living room and water heater and cups in the small kitchen. Staff was nice and helpful yet the language barrier leads to misunderstanding at some points. Eventually i had to adjust and let go because its only for a night. Not a big deal.

AustraliaEverything! If you are reading this post DO NOT stay here. We left early as the room had a raw sewage smell, mould on the walls and the air conditioning unit was black inside, I am hoping it was just a dust build up, but pretty sure it was also mould. Our bathroom had no water! The room had no fire or safety features and if there was an emergency, no one would make it out.
The location was central

United KingdomI had an amazing stay at Drumie Home in Hanoi’s Old Quarter! The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city, close to everything you could possibly need, from delicious street food to cultural landmarks. The accommodation itself was great. My room was very spacious, clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What truly made my experience exceptional was the incredible staff, especially Son. From the moment I arrived, he made sure I felt welcome and taken care of. Son is not only friendly but also an excellent communicator. He provided top-notch recommendations for the best local restaurants, ensuring I had some of the most delicious meals in Hanoi. He also guided me to the best currency exchange, which was a huge help as I had VND cash with me. His hospitality and dedication made my stay effortless and enjoyable. He checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make sure I had a smooth experience in Hanoi. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay with outstanding service, Drumie Home is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

IndiaNot at all recommended especially for families or couples. Only bachelor can think of as the location is a bit ok. Otherwise nothing to like, no one at reception, they sent video for how to do self checkin, was struggling for 15 minutes then someone came and helped in finding the keys. No lift and had to climb stairs with my trolley bags. The room is damp and there is too much noise coming from outside, people are talking, laughing at 2 am at night just outside my room, I had booked this hotel only to get night sleep which I could not get, felt like someone knocking my door at 3 am with no security or reception at place felt scary. Had a pre booked airport cab with them, Other cities in Vietnam offered cabs for less than grab but they charged 30% more than grab. No one is there to keep your luggage also.
The location is ok and the staff were communicating since the time I booked.. Giving 3 stars only for that otherwise the hotel does not deserve a single star.
