Was very cheap and cheerful. Quiet & even though the mattress was very hard we slept very well.

The reviews and booking.com info was misleading. There is no breakfast despite many reviews saying it had an exceptional breakfast. The airport shuttle is 30 mins away on foot. They book you an airport taxi on request for $20 .

Home page says that breakfast is available but it wasn't.

Big room, nice furniture. Property has potential to be great.

Staff had no English, there were a few cockroaches in the room and , not very clean, shower was not good.

The hotel was easy to locate and the family rooms were large as stated. The receptionist in the evening was polite and charged me the 1 day accommodation minus the discount available on the site.

We arrived by grab and no one was able to help us up the uneven sidewalk. Only a single receptionist upon arrival. Asked if I could first view the room and it did look large but the landing (or tiny hallway) was lit by a timer that opened for a few moments. The atmosphere was dim since there was no windows on the landing and the adjacent staircase was good single file going up or down or two if with no baggage. Supposed to stay for the evening but there was a 30min power outage and decided to move. Receptionist did say that was the first time it happened and when we opened the 5th floor window ...the whole block was unlit. Difficult bringing luggage down by cellular flashlight as room phone was dead and electronic locks meant we couldn't open the roomed once closed... No emergency lights in the rooms or the landings.

Very clean , good location, friendly staff and delicious breakfast! All staff at reception and breakfast were very professional and were attentive to all our needs. I want to thank them very much for providing us with a lot of information about Hanoi. Rooms were neat and spacious with a balcony.

My wife and I always book here when we stay in Hanoi. The reasons we always return to this hotel are the excellent friendly service, excellent breakfast and the very comfortable rooms. The hotel helps to facilitate airport transfers at a reasonable price. When we return to Hanoi we will be sure to book here again, and I already know our next visit will be luxurious and very enjoyable.

Duc Trong was the nicest, most welcoming hotel of our stay in Vietnam. It is incredibly well situated tucked down a quiet street, but is still close to some great restaurants and local sites. The staff was incredibly helpful in providing our every need and supporting us with recommendations and tips. The hotel breakfast was also fantastic, with a diverse changing spread of foods available buffet-style, and an impressive array of a la carte options as well. We would not hesitate to recommend Duc Trong to anyone.

Such a great hotel! Location is absolutely perfect. Walkable to most of the major sites in Hanoi. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left the staff was the absolute best. So kind and warm. The rooms were cute, too! We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we ever visit Hanoi in the future.

Good location and convenient to walk around. Very friendly hospitality and staffs are very helpful and polite. Room is kept clean. Food are excellent and tasty and staffs will ensure will enjoy the best out of it. Second time staying here and will come back again.

This hotel is an absolute gem and the staff are incredible- friendly, warm, thoughtful and deeply service oriented. You feel like you are staying in a luxury hotel with this kind of service. It’s a lovely hotel, beds are super comfortable, a/c works well and pretty views from our windows. We really enjoyed the design too. The breakfast had a wide range of food for us to choose from. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The dining room was very pretty and comfortable. We were quite moved by their generosity of service. They really made the place feel like a haven in the hustle and bustle of the city. And the location is perfect for getting around easily.

Kind and helpful staff

The furniture was very old and there was dust everywhere it was quite noisy too. The mattress was very hard as if it was sleeping on the floor I woke up and all my body hurt.There was no normal mattress on the bed but a strange mattress like a deckchair.And it was not hot water.

We loved everything about our stay at the Đức Trọng Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we were comfortable. The daily breakfast was incredible - a great array of options to choose from and everything we had was fresh and delicious. We stayed in a basic room and it was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is in a great location and we will definitely stay here again when we come back.

This entire hotel was absolutely beautiful! My room was cozy and decorated nicely. They offered complementary water, soda, and beer in every room. The restaurant in the hotel had delicious food! We had the breakfast buffet multiple times, and it was one of my favorite hotel breakfasts yet.

Room was beautiful, clean and tasteful. Service definitely stood out, with an extremely excellent staff. The staff were super friendly and helpful in entertaining all our requests including reservations for meals and spa, as well as recommending places of interest and souvenirs.

We stay at Đức Trọng for two nights. And we are so glad we did. The hotel is in a great location in Hanoi. It's within a few minutes walk to restaurants, spa, shopping... The hotel itself is very clean and very modern. The rooms are spacious and came with all necessary amenities. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic and plentiful. But the best part of the hotel is the staffs. The customer service at Đức Trọng is second to none! We were greeted and treated like royalty. Everyone there were so friendly always smiling and willing to help. We highly recommend the Đức Trọng hotel in Hanoi, and will definitely stay there again on our next trip back to Vietnam.

We just returned from a two day stay at the Đức Trọng and it was lovely. Our room was spacious and beautiful and the staff was very helpful and professional. The hotel is very beautiful. The location of the hotel is also excellent. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic.

Excellent service. Great communications and recommendations around the area. Breakfast was delicious as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hanoi. Room was clean and location had many great options within walking distance. Very attention staff that spoke good English.

Great location from which to explore the city. Clean, comfortable rooms, good food, friendly and professional staff. Every detail taken care of. The rooms are well located - you won't be disturbed by the sound of traffic in this busy city.
