Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

VietnamThe bed was quite hard (I was in the cheapest room tho so could be different in other rooms) and they turned the lights in the hallway off at night so had to use my phone light to get the key in the door 😂.
Was in a very good location about a 5 minute walk from the beach and many restaurants and shops, was incredible value for money and was very clean overall experience was good.

VietnamThe room facilities are a bit old and the soundproofing is not good. Weak water flow and unusable shower. In the morning we were woken up by the sound of house repairs and the noise of tourists downstairs. Besides that, we had a bad experience renting motorbikes here and the price was unclear. People should be careful in negotiating the price and ask clearly if the price is per day or until 12 noon. We rented motorbikes with the price 100,000 vnđ from 6pm the night before to 6pm the next day, BUT were charged for 150,000 vnđ. Finally, after we argued, they charged us 100,000 vnđ.
Location is near Vung Tau beach.

United KingdomThe room smelled damp and musty. There was no window. There was no upper sheet on the bed - just a thin blanket. The mattress was very hard. The noise of the elevator and particularly the two-note arrival chime was invasive and disturbed our sleep. The power socket by the bed did not work. No clothes hangers in the wardrobe. There was no hot water in the bathroom. We'd booked for two nights but left after the first night.
Not so much. Reasonably close to the beach and some places to eat.

United KingdomFor some reason the room has two internal windows, one onto the landing and one onto the stairwell, which let in absolutely every bit of noise from the hotel. The paper-thin curtains meant that our room would suddenly go from darkness to bright light whenever someone turned the lights on, and the elevator makes a noise that means you might as well have a doorbell going off in the room every time someone uses it. Having to start our day at 6am, when the elevator started being used frequently & made sleep an impossibility, was annoying but we adjusted our schedule & got on with it without complaint. Then the weekend came, and the place turned into absolute hell. People screaming & shouting through the hotel, running around and slamming doors, up until 4am whilst the customary 6am wakeup call from the elevator also continued. I tried to explain to the owner via Google Translate that we were finding it impossible to sleep more than a couple of hours per night, her response was to shout at me in Vietnamese. Up until this point she had been happy to speak via translator but from then on she just took to screaming in my face in a language I can't understand every morning, just what you need when you've already been woken up & just want to get a coffee in peace!
Good location, it's the only thing really going for this place.
