There was nothing we didn’t like about this lovely hotel

This hotel was in the heart of the old quarter, beautiful boutique hotel and the staff were absolutely lovely. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast location had great views. The best bit was the beautiful sky bar on the roof. Amazing view over the city.

Ngoc in the dining area was exceptional in her service. Entire front office staff was courteous, polite and above all extremely helpful in all matters concerning tourists like us. All the information was given beforehand. Recommended with five star.

The hotel excels in every aspect – from its excellent facilities and convenient location to the impressive cleanliness. However, what truly distinguished my stay was the exceptional service. In particular, Manager Phuong Anh provided a level of attentiveness and hospitality that made me feel genuinely well cared for throughout my visit. For anyone traveling to Hanoi, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and overall quality.

Just the noise could be a problem on weekends as it’s the Main Street in Hanoi for nightlife, so I suggest the hotel provide good quality earplugs for guests that need them as some other hotels do, the cheap ones they gave me I couldn’t wear as they were uncomfortable

It’s located on beer street, so getting back to it late at night you have to wade through the crowds of people and staff from pubs trying to lure you into their establishments. Beer street was a little chaotic for us. But it didn’t stop us rebooking another night here 4 days after because we loved the hotel so much.

Comfortable bed and pillows, nice walk in shower with shower head from ceiling, good for tall people. Quiet room opposite side to beer street. The staff were extremely attentive. The trainee doormen and reception staff on Sunday 9th August 2025 were so lovely and helpful. Jane the manager was so kind, helpful and assisted us with everything with great care. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of Vietnamese dishes to choose from plus separate menu of Vietnamese dishes as well as western egg dishes to choose from to order included in the breakfast. Lovely sky bar with more happy and attentive staff. All drinks are buy 1 get one free all day long for guests. The hotel lobby is lovely. Plenty of space to sit and wait for grabs. No issues leaving your bags for the day either. We were treated so well by every staff member it made us feel so welcome and made our stay so comfortable.

The noise cancellation with the room upstairs is not really good if you are noise sensitive in the early morning but still manageable.

Staff is really friendly, supportive. The location is locked down during weekends but staff have helped us to carry luggages to the main road. Restaurant staff, cleaning staff, Receptionists are all really friendly and always saying Hi to us. I ordered the King size bed and is really comfy, room is also clean.

The Hotel is close to everything, but we didn't hear street noise from our room. Bed was very comfy enjoyed 3 days. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Jane helped us with all our queries and with our tour bookings and gave us good information. Food at the Restaurant was delicious, so for my Sister and I it was a fantastic stay.

There is sometimes in the late evening noise from a nearby bar: this is of course no fault of the hotel. We simply put some earplugs in and slept through. The noise seemed to stop around midnight..

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in August 2025. We knew it would be great, but, it was an absolute dream come true! I am travelling through Southeast Asia with my mom, and this hotel truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was absolutely incredible, going above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. They were so attentive and caring from start to finish. The rooms were absolutely stunning! They were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and stylish. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest and recharge. The nearby area in the old town can be a little overwhelming especially when it is hot, crowded and a lot to take in. We felt very happy to have our retreat in the hotel. And let’s not forget about the breakfast! Oh my goodness, it was absolutely divine! The menu was so diverse that we had a real treat. We tried all sorts of new foods, and we even indulged in a classic Western breakfast with bacon, toast, cheese, and ham. Every morning, we had a selection of eggs, omelettes, pho, or traditional Vietnamese dishes to choose from. It was like having a little culinary adventure every day! This hotel was definitely our favourite during our Southeast Asia trip. We can’t recommend it enough! If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

Just so people are aware, the hotel is on beer street so it can be loud at nighttime. Not a problem for us but if you are looking for a quiet location or have kids, this might not be for you.

We loved our stay at La Mejor and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff couldn’t have done enough for you and were always friendly and attentive. Good breakfast range, happy hour at the rooftop bar applies to all residents from 4pm making cocktails really cheap (£3/4). They sorted out transfers for us from the airport and even after we had checked out of the hotel and went on a 2 day trip to Ha Long Bay, they kindly sorted out a transfer for us to Ninh Binh which was really kind. Little attention to details also e.g. welcome drink on arrival and spending time to discuss the area on a local map.

The property was clean and had a great breakfast in the morning included in the price! All of the staff were so lovely and helpful! I came here for 3 nights with my friend then returned later as it was such a nice hotel! I would recommend!!
