Lucky with no others in the room. But no curtain for your ref.

Very near Sapa bus station and walking distance to night market :) Nice staffs and location. And great price for a night. Thank you.

We would like to share a very unfortunate experience we had with a booking in Sapa on April 6th. We had arranged to arrive at the property around 5:00 AM after a night bus, and had specifically coordinated with the host to be available to receive us. Unfortunately, there was no one to welcome us, and we waited outside until someone eventually opened the door. We were exhausted after a sleepless night and were simply looking for a few hours of rest before starting a trek later that morning. However, upon entering the room, we quickly realized it was entirely unfit for even the shortest stay: • The room had an unbearable smell • There was no hot water, and the shower barely worked • The room was dirty, with no trash bin and no soap • Dogs were barking nonstop outside • There was constant noise inside the room • The staff did not speak English, which made communication very difficult We stayed in the room for no more than 30 minutes, trying to see if we could make it work, but it was clear that we could not rest there — not even for a short nap. We reached out to the staff for clarification, but received no proper explanation or support. We ended up leaving immediately and were forced to find an alternative solution on the spot. Given the circumstances, we request a full refund for this booking.

I am so happy I chose Fuji hostel/homestay as my accommodation while in Sapa. I was there for 6 nights and I felt super comfortable. What I loved about it the most is that they have normal beds instead of bunk beds. For the first part of my stay I was sharing the room with only one other person, and then I had the room for myself - perks of the low season. There was also a heater, which was so helpful because Sapa can get pretty cold. The receptionist and the owners were super nice, friendly and helpful. They helped me to find a bus to Dien Bien Phu with the departure in the morning, and communicated the details with the driver. Since I was alone over the Christmas/New Years holidays, I spontaneously got even invited for their family dinner one evening, which was such a warm gesture. In the mornings I could use a kettle to boil some water to make my coffees, which helped me to save a bit and I could have my slow and comfy mornings at the hostel :)
