Staff were incredible and very helpful. They let us check in early and cleaned our room thoroughly. They even moped the floors and wiped the surfaces. Very impressed!

The room had no window and the air got really bad in there. There was also little space to spread out the suitcases.

Nice staff, clean room, booked transfer for us, breakfast was okay but not the best, location was amazing; it's a very casual 'everything was alright but nothing was great & nothing was bad' type of thing. A comfortable stay for sure.

The building is older, like everything in the Old Quarter, and doesn't have all the amenities that a large, new, modern hotel would have. But that is a tradeoff for being in this vibrant neighborhood.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the Old Quarter, surrounded by restaurants, stores, markets, etc. It is walking distance to many tourist areas, or a short Grab ride. Staff at the hotel were wonderful. There was also a good complimentary breakfast each morning and coffee and tea available all day. Very good value.

The breakfast is exceptional. The room is comfortable and have a peaceful vibes. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, we appreciate it a lot. The location is nearby tourist areas and walkable. We are coming back again for our next booking in this hotel.

This comfortable hotel is located well, close to many of the sights we wanted to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and helping us get laundry done. The breakfast included in the price was very tasty. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel or stay here again!

The staff were very friendly. The front desk (Emma ane Linda) were very helpful and fluent in english. The housekeeping was helpful as well. The rooms were clean. The location is very good.

We stayed in a family room, and I think it could use some improvements, like less transparent curtains. I shared my feedback with the staff, and I hope they will do their best to make these changes.

Nothing! This was perfect for what I needed

This hotel was absolutely perfect for what I needed. After a long go travel day, it was great to be greeted by such a lovely staff team and a cosy room. The bed was really big nd spacious and I had great night’s sleep. The hotel is really well located making it easy to wonder to and from the heart of the old quarter without needing taxis or anything like that. I was spending some time in Ha Giang and Sapa and the team were so helpful, packing me up a breakfast as I was leaving early. I am so grateful for this.

None., what more can I complain with the price yet a very good and outstanding service? Golden Rooster Hotel is the best choice.

Golden Rooster Hotel is situated on the busy streets of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The staffs are very warm, welcoming and very approachable. Staying in Golden Rooster Hotel is like staying in your own home. The food they serve every morning is very good and each day you’ll get the chance to try different Vietnamese dish along with other international dishes. The hotel is so near to every tourist spot. Like you can literally just walk going there. If you want to purchase internet, you can just buy it directly from them. It’s cheap and reliable. Emma helped me out with my internet. And she is so kind and generous of her time in helping me. This was my first solo trip and I am so happy that they made it a very good one. Planning to come back and bring my mom.

Bathroom blind was sheer so you could see the other person in the bathroom quite easily

We had a late check in and only stayed for one night before heading to Ninh Binh. The staff here upgraded our room as there was one available for free and booked our transfer for the next morning which made the whole process stress free. Thank you!
