Though 5 stars, there is some wear/tear of the facility/room (loose stained caulking, rusting and paint chip of exterior etc). Location is a bit far from central Danang, so eating beyond hotel food and visiting Danang or Hoi An require some advanced planning. These however don't take away from a wonderful experience.

Our favorite hotel in Vietnam. Wonderful staff, facilities, and amenities. We enjoyed the yoga, Japanese onsen/spa, and private beach. Room was spacious, though would have appreciated a tub over a shower. Japanese breakfast was great, but you also have Western and other Asian food options.

We had a fantastic time here. The hotel room was spacious and had an awesome ocean view. The beach was clean and tranquil, the pool was nicely warm and big, and onsen made me feel like I was in Japan. The hospitality was very Japanese and it was exceptional! Toyo san and all the staff made our stay in Vietnam unforgettable. We will come back again!

This is a very very nice hotel, well maintained, fantastic staff, beautiful pools and beach. The restaurants are amazing, the breakfast as well. The kids club is also very cute with doffierent activities every hour. Very nice place overall.

There is nothing I can fault with this hotel!

Every aspect of this hotel was outstanding. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for us. A special mention to Ms Susong who really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. The spa was excellent and we had a lot of treatments included with our room which we certainly made the most of. Stay here you won’t regret it!

Beautiful hotel, well designed (so that pool, beach, restaurants etc are all within a short walk), that never felt too crowded. Food was excellent, with breakfast in the Asian restaurant so good we never actually tried either of the other places for breakfast. They do all the big things brilliantly, but little touches like cold flannels at the pool, preparing the sun loungers, unlimited bottled water etc just made the whole experience perfect. Special mention for all the staff - most welcoming I have ever experienced. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always available to assist (including summoning the lift every time we crossed reception!), and were utterly friendly, respectful and courteous. We were sad to leave and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in this part of Vietnam.

The service was wonderful! They all make you feel so valued and are willing to help you at any time! The location is very convenient for those that want to be near Danang and Hoi An as the resort is located in the meddle of both with access to a taxi at any time. The breakfast buffet and the food in general was delightful. Also had the best massage ever in their spa!! We would definetely return here!

Staff were extremely polite but except for the front desk they spoke very little English. In general this wasn’t a problem but it did surprise me since it is a 5 star resort. I had a situation with room service where a I just gave up (trying to order well done hamburgers) and ordered other food. Beach is beautiful, large and clean but be aware water gets deep quickly and sea was pretty rough with big waves (red flag 2 of 4 days) when we visited end of March.

Location is very quiet and relaxing, that was exactly what I was hoping for. Perfect size of the property and we loved the well manicured garden, private beach with hammocks under the palm trees, the main pool area and the large Japanese bath (onsen). We were in a 1BR suite on 4th floor and it was very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Good and drinks in the restaurants were excellent. Best dinner was the Teppan restaurant. Great breakfast buffet in the main restaurant with lots of hot and cold options. All staff were very helpful and extremely polite (probably the most polite staff we ever met, and compared to many other 5 star hotels and resorts). Lifeguard at beach was very attentive on the days when we could swim in the sea.

A wonderful five star Beach Resort with very friendly and helpful staff and an extensive breakfast menu to suit all tastes and dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegetarian. Highly recommended. If I visit Hoi An again I’ll definitely stay again.

It's right on the beach. Near the town and there is a shuttle bus hourly. It's so clean and the food is great. To say the staff went the extra mile; they even rushed to call the elevator when they saw me heading that way. Always there to greet you in the morning. The gardener; cooks; servers always greeted you. 5 stars. Hope to go there again.

Grandvrio Ocean is one of the best hotels we've visited, although the list is long. Our room is spacious, the wall facing the terrace is glass. The terrace is big. The bathroom is wonderful. The bed is huge, the mattress is top quality, the bed linen is of high quality and is updated every day. The cleanliness is perfect. All buildings, the park, the pool are elegantly designed and spotlessly clean. The beach is also constantly kept clean. The food is delicious. The staff made us feel like we were princes. Thanks to Anh, who kept an eye on us! Thank you to Helen/Elena, who handled every situation flexibly! We had a great week!
