How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s not they’re fault but neighbors were working on construction and were a bit noisy in the morning, super plus for the host, she gently accepted on changing my room so I can sleep more comfortably📈📈
What a lovely Homestay, they made me feel at home 🩵 Helen looked after me and even helped me fixing up two of my shirts 😅 thanks so much

The place is quiet I needed that Helen was super helpful and the whole family was lovely. Within walking distance from the old town. When it was too hot, I took a grab for 16000. Really nice place to stay

Nice little family-run hotel within easy walking distance to the old town. The staff were very helpful even supplying me with snacks to take on the bus to my next destination. An extra motorbike to get me to the bus stop was also provided... without an extra charge. Great value at a low price.

We had a wonderful time at Green Town hotel. Helen is an outstanding host and made sure we enjoyed our week stay. It’s close enough to old town that you can easy walk there but far enough to enjoy a quieter more authentic part of Hoi An.

Very clean, lovely staff. Helen was so helpful with booking a taxi for us to Da Nang, booking bikes for us and giving us recommendations in Hoi An. We were also ready to check in early. Great location.

Everything was great here ! The room is clean and well-equipped and everything functions well. The place is located close to Old Town, within walking distance. Best of all was the host ! Helen was extremely sweet and helpful, I was really sick during my stay here and she checked up on me regularly, bringing ginger tea when she could hear I was coughing and preparing pots for steam inhalation. I felt at home and taken care of so far away from home - thanks so much !

Helen the host and her family are so welcoming. There for whatever you need. Helen speaks great English and can schedule whatever activities u need. They don't have bikes but can rent one for u. It is in a very quiet area which i appreciated. Great AC. Only$15US for a driver to meet u at the airport in Danang.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location being between 10 - 15 minutes walk from the historic 'Old Town'. Close enough, but in a quiet area just outside. I can recommend this accommodation.

Loved my stay here, I extended twice as it felt like a home away from home. The family were extremely friendly and offered to help with anything I needed. I also hired a scooter here, which was a great experience. The room was cleaned frequently, shower was great, nothing negative to stay, highly recommend!

Had a great time here. This is a hotel that's ran by a local family inside a 3 story building. The location is great - 10 minutes walk from the old town. Scooters and bicycles are available for rent.

Perfect stay: the owners are so friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early for a small fee as we arrived in the early hours of the morning. Clean room and only a short walk to the town centre.

Ms Helen and her family were wonderfully kind and helpful for our stay. Communication before during and after our stay reflected her interest in ensuring we enjoyed our stay in HoiAn. It is a hotel, but feels personal like a home stay.

Was so cozy and in a great location. Quiet nights sleep but only a 5 minute walk into the old town. Helen the manager was so lovely and very helpful. Arrived early in the morning and gave us a fold out bed to sleep in whilst we waited for our room. Some of the best service I’ve received at any hotel. Would recommend to anyone staying in hoi a for short or long stay.

Everything was ok

Helen and her team were excellent, welcoming and friendly! Helped me book tours and very informative. It's a little walk from the main area which was great, more local feel while still being close but quiet so you can rest away from the hussle of Hoi An.
