Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI won’t recommend staying here if you don’t like pets, specially cats as there is two and their little hairs are everywhere (common areas only). For us it wasn’t a problem even though my partner is allergic to cats.
We stayed in the double room and it was perfect size and super comfortable. Staff were the highlight of the stay, they are super friendly and take care of you all the time. If you are coffee addict this little place its perfect for you. Location it’s perfect as you are not in the middle of the city but you are a few minutes away from it. Also there is many cafes and restaurants just a few steps around.

The dorm room was nice and clean and quiet. The staff were really happy. There were a couple of marts nearby where you could pay with a card. There were some really good street food options.

I stayed in January, so this review is a little late. First off, GREAT staff - thank you to the amazing hosts. i have forgotten their names, my apologies, but they made sure I got checked in ok, gave great recommendations for nearby and went above and beyond in making me feel welcome and included. For example, a couple of longer stayers to the dorm were leaving and there was a dinner party to celebrate with great vibes from all. I made contacts with whom I'm still in touch. The vibe - This is a social hostel (at least when I was there) and I met some really sweet people. I'd say this is a great beginners hostel or one for if you're not a massive partier, but wouldn't mind going out. The best hostel I've stayed in I think, so far. Great location - outside of hyper/massive - tourist areas but in an interesting area where a large explant/expat/migrant population is so there's an interest melting pot of cultures. Rooms - clean, love the wood, GOOD lightproofing/curtains/shades, comfy bed, solid air conditioning. My only issue is the toilet/shower/sink combo which was well loved but meh to each their own Cafe - downstairs is vibey. There are plenty around Animals - adorable Breakfast - solid. Love some eggs and PB toast

GermanyThe coffee area downstairs is a bit unclear to me. It is mostly an unused area without any guests. The vibe downstairs felt a bit weird somehow, but not too bad either. What bothered us, was the breakfast (we booked breakfast included). They provide toast, peanut butter and jam as well as bananas and hard boiled eggs. That’s it, not even coffee. I think it’s a nice gesture but nothing I would advertise as “breakfast included” really.
We stayed in a private double room, which was spacious enough and clean. One of the staff members was very friendly, always greeting us with a warm smile and friendly small talk.

United KingdomAs other reviews have said the majority of the clientele seem to be students living there permanently not that’s it’s a bad thing as they’re very clean but they’re not always the most social. Maybe a few social activities to get people talking would help
Great little cosy hostels, away from the madness of the city but only 15 mins into the centre The staff are great, they waited up till late after my bus was delayed to check me in ! Comfy and quiet rooms. Cute dog and cats

IndonesiaBe aware that since it is a dorm, amenities are not fully included. Do prepare your own hygiene products like shampoo, conditioner. The road leading to the dorm is not big enough for a car, as well as a little bit small dorm room so make sure you travel light. Breakfast is included but is pretty basic stuffs like cereal and toasts; there are also milk, boiled eggs and bananas!
I like the overall atmosphere of the place. It's cozy, quiet, neat and feels like home. Staffs are friendly, there is a shiba inu, and 2 cats. Visitors in the dorm are generally friendly and respectful towards each other and to the common area. You are provided with a comfy mattress, a big pillow, a warm blanket, a towel and a locker. There is a cafe shop on the 1st floor with decent drinks and atmosphere.
