The girl at reception gave me 2 candies while i was checking in.... Mr Zoom as always too good and wonderful to look after and makes sure that my stay is good Hotel facilities are exceptional and cleaning and services is 10/10 They even upgraded my room and i am so grateful for that Lift is super crazy fast which i havnt seen much in hotels in Hanoi at this price. This hotel is sorrounded by everything i.e, local vietnamese food, astonishing coffee and atm and local market too along with royal city just at walking distance. Water pressure is perfect and provided with all amenities inside room and essentials inside WC Everyone who is reading this review Dont hesitate, just book it and i am sure this will be a perfect stay.

United States⚠️ WARNING, WARNING!! ⚠️ For context, we're Americans who travel extensively internationally for both business & leisure. To name just a few countries - Thailand, India, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, Brazil, China, Taiwan, Macau, Czech Republic, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea... Our first night in Vietnam was a HUGE disappointment. We checked in late & ended up leaving our initial / this hotel early due to a "malfunctioning" hot tub (the VERY old, small hot water heater couldn't fill the tub - it shouldn't be advertised if it's unusable!). This was the main reason I booked the room (903). Also, the room was VERY grimey and poorly maintained, despite the SUSPICIOUSLY high ratings. 😒 The daytime receptionist, who I believe may have been the owner (he spoke English fairly well unlike the other employees), gave us an insulting 100k VND "discount" for the "malfunctioning" tub, so we ended up paying 900k VND + 33,505 VND card fee = 933,505 VND for a WAYYY overpriced room!! We looked at the smaller shower-only room for 3 adults (502), but it was also VERY grimey and poorly maintained, so we definitely did NOT transfer. He said it would be the same 900k VND rate, which was insulting & laughable after looking at it!! We left shortly after noon to try another hotel (A25 Hotel - 88 Nguyễn Khuyến) - the BEST DECISION EVER!! We paid 822,171 VND total by credit card/visa, which included a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast for 3 of us and TONS of other amenities - please go read my review of that hotel. It was such a pleasant stay that we stayed an extra night in Hanoi (same price). We will definitely stay at A25 Hotel - 88 Nguyễn Khuyến again whenever we return to Hanoi!! On Google Maps, I've uploaded pictures & a long video to show true conditions of room 903.

VietnamMy stay at this hotel left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, with several long hairs discovered on my bed, raising concerns about hygiene standards. The dated equipment, particularly the aging air conditioner, added to the discomfort. The restroom's narrow confines were also a downside, making the overall experience less than satisfactory. While the price may be a factor, improvements in cleanliness and modernization of amenities are crucial for a more pleasant stay.
Upon arrival, the warm welcome from the male receptionist sets a positive tone for the stay. The hotel's proximity to the street with a canal view adds a charming touch, providing a unique and picturesque setting. With reasonable prices, it offers good value for the stay. While the accommodations may not be extravagant, the combination of a friendly atmosphere and an attractive location makes this spot a solid choice for those seeking a cozy retreat without breaking the bank.
