I had an amazing experience at Hanoi Backpackers Lodge Hostel. The rooms were spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. The staff here are extremely polite and friendly. In particular, Son at the front desk left a strong impression on me – not only did he recommend a fantastic local restaurant, but he also kindly lent me an umbrella when it suddenly rained. Thanks to Son, I joined the 3 days 2 nights Ha Giang Loop tour, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience of my entire trip across Asia. Breathtaking scenery, authentic moments, and so many emotions. I will definitely come back and highly recommend everyone to try it!

I booked my stay at Hanoi Backpackers Lodge Hostel through Booking, and they replied incredibly fast. Not only that, they also helped me arrange a pick-up from Noi Bai Airport right after I landed from Bangkok, Thailand. At the reception, there was a very friendly staff member who even offered me a bottle of local soft drink while I was waiting. They were truly caring and great listeners. We also booked the 4 days Ha Giang Loop tour with them. At first, I didn’t expect much because the weather wasn’t great, but it turned out to be the most fun and memorable trip of my entire 2-month holiday. A huge thank you to Son-the front desk for his kindness and care during my stay. He truly made my experience in Hanoi unforgettable, and I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Vietnam – especially if you want a personal touch and exceptional hospitality.

Guys! I gotta tell y'all about this amazing youth hostel in Hanoi👍 Its location is a dream! You're right next to all the cool spots. The rooms are squeaky - clean, the vibe is so warm. The boss is so nice and plans trips for you. I'm definitely coming back!

The 'cold' water in the shower was very hot but Hanoi was in a heatwave (hottest August day on record!) so no fault of anyone at the hostel.

Great location, comfortable pod beds and fantastic A/C. Nice staff, water for sale for a small fee, close to so many great eateries and ca phe stalls.

The staff was INCREDIBLE! They were not only friendly but well informed about events, tours, food, and local attractions. Booking tours with them was super easy and accessible. I also love the location, everything was within a 10min walk (often less). The room was also nice and clean with free WiFi and cool air conditioning. I would definitely book with them again.

At 3am the room flooded, the slippers were floating. The staff took charge right away, but it was uncomfortable.
