Amazing and well maintained

Except for the loud banging of room doors by the other guests and the tiny elevator, there is nothing that we dislike.

Next to the hotel are lots of eateries, restaurants and shops. Hoan Kiem lake and Dong Xuan market are within 15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. They assisted us with our SIM cards and one even helped us to reason with a taxi driver who tried to overcharge us 10 times the regular fare. The rooms are reasonably clean with all basic needs met.

Clean, comfortable room. Soundproof room was good. On busy street, balcony nothing special. Staff not overly welcoming or helpful. Good for overnight stay.

Pillows were hard. Towels had stains on some days. toilet had a smell

Some people might find it inconvenient turning on a water heater switch 5 mins before a shower but it didn't bother us.

Location was great Wonderful to have a lift even tho we were on the first floor. Good size room, large shower.

Lift is quite cramped if you’re at the top floor with bags but this can’t be changed.

The floor and items in the room are a little dusty, though it might just be our room. But things are working, just that they are dusty.

Location was near to our bus drop-off point and close to all famous attractions and points of interest.

- Change Blanket

Location is closed to walking road and Hoan Kiem Lake. My room with balcony is spacious and clean. However the Blanket is too thin because they just set up the cover of blanket. Upon arrival, there was no welcome drink. The elevator is small and enough space for 2 people only but it is a house style of Ha Noi old town. No Problem. Luckily we got the room for earlier check in. Many thanks.

Breakfast pictures are no longer valid (no breakfast), but plenty of options nearby (recommended: The Banh My around the corner to the right). Small elevator, but it works. The hotel could use some tlc (especially the ventilation is not working in the bathroom, hense the moisture comments from others). Shower: give it a little time to warm up.

Very good budget option in Hanoi. Good location near everything interesting. Personel is super friendly, though not all speak english. The girl working in the day speaks perfect english. You can book tours and transfer here. All in all it's a great budget option; all that matters is there :-)

The lift and stairs are a bit scary… it’s probably not the best place for kids.

Great location, amazing hot shower and fast wifi. Staff is very helpful and there’s always someone there to help. They did a good job with soundproofing, so you don’t really hear the bustles even though it’s in the middle of Old Quarter.

The moist in the room, i guess, but not really affect much

The room is clean. All the staff are very friendly and supportive whenever we asked for support. This is a great place to stay since it's within the Old Quarter. Very convenient to check out plenty of food store nearby.

Perhaps the towels could be better and a shade whiter.

Location is great for exploring Old town and it is 2 min away from bus stop 86 from the airport. Our room was huge and it had a balcony overlooking the street but still functional. Fridge, coffee/tea and welcome bottle of water. Big TV. Spacious bathroom. There is a lift and the staff is polite. The girl at the reception speaks good English.

The bed was too soft for me. And there were dust/sand on my bed under the blanket, seem like the bedsheet has not been replace before my check in.

Good location, many place for food around. Close to the lake. You can take bus 86 to airport with just a few steps right from the hotel. Nice staff (the lady) helped me a lot with info.

Would not recommend staying here. I booked the Double room and the photos are very deceiving as the room I ended up in the window (which looks surprisingly bright in images) was actually covered with an opaque film and the room was very dark without the lights on. It felt quite prison like waking up and not being able to see the sun. The WiFi also does not work at all! And the cleaner came into our room without the sign on the door, moved our belongings into drawers which were not being used and also threw away some plastic bags we had on the floor next to our wet trainers (which we were using to keep our trainers in whilst travelling to keep our other belongings dry from them). The receptionist did provide me with other plastic bags when I went down and explained the situation but it was still an inconvenience and our things should not have been thrown away. In addition the hot water for the shower does not last long and meant that only one person could have a hot shower if needing to shower at the same time before going out.
