    Next to the hotel are lots of eateries, restaurants and shops. Hoan Kiem lake and Dong Xuan market are within 15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. They assisted us with our SIM cards and one even helped us to reason with a taxi driver who tried to overcharge us 10 times the regular fare. The rooms are reasonably clean with all basic needs met.

    Except for the loud banging of room doors by the other guests and the tiny elevator, there is nothing that we dislike.

    Clean, comfortable room. Soundproof room was good. On busy street, balcony nothing special. Staff not overly welcoming or helpful. Good for overnight stay.

    Good location, walking distance to everything

    Would not recommend staying here. I booked the Double room and the photos are very deceiving as the room I ended up in the window (which looks surprisingly bright in images) was actually covered with an opaque film and the room was very dark without the lights on. It felt quite prison like waking up and not being able to see the sun. The WiFi also does not work at all! And the cleaner came into our room without the sign on the door, moved our belongings into drawers which were not being used and also threw away some plastic bags we had on the floor next to our wet trainers (which we were using to keep our trainers in whilst travelling to keep our other belongings dry from them). The receptionist did provide me with other plastic bags when I went down and explained the situation but it was still an inconvenience and our things should not have been thrown away. In addition the hot water for the shower does not last long and meant that only one person could have a hot shower if needing to shower at the same time before going out.

First of all, the room you booked is a Deluxe room which can be on different floors from high to low floor depending on availability. The images shown online included in the Deluxe room section have one with a bright window (because it’s on a higher floor) and one with a darker window (because it’s on a lower floor). You didn’t request beforehand so we didn’t know your preference, and you stayed for a few nights and also didn’t mention anything to our staff. If we knew, we could have helped you change the room to a higher floor. You also didn’t let our staff know that the wifi did not work because if we knew, we could have fixed it right away for you. Sometimes the wifi just needs a quick reset for it to work smoothly again, this only takes 1-2 minutes but we didn’t know the entire time you stayed so we couldn’t assist you on that matter. Secondly, we have daily cleaning so when the guests go outside, the housekeeper will come in to clean the room unless you put the “do not disrupt” sign on the door. When the housekeeper came in and cleaned your rooms, there were empty plastic bags laying on the floor so she picked them up and threw them away for you. When you talked to the staff about it, we apologized explaining that we didn’t know that you didn’t want to clean the room and gave you new plastic bags. Lastly, you had to turn on the hot water and wait for a few minutes for the water to get hot, so we are sorry for the inconvenience. We have staff 24 hours ready to help so please say something if there is any issue during your stay with us. We feel very disheartened to receive this review because we know that we could have helped to make your experience staying here much better if you told us anytime during your stay.     Location was great and staff are nice. Had an elevator that can fit exactly 2 people without luggage

    Pillows were hard. Towels had stains on some days. toilet had a smell

    Location was great Wonderful to have a lift even tho we were on the first floor. Good size room, large shower.

    Some people might find it inconvenient turning on a water heater switch 5 mins before a shower but it didn't bother us.

    Spacious room. Good shower and facilities. Location was nice for restaurants.

    Lift is quite cramped if you’re at the top floor with bags but this can’t be changed.
