A little noisy from corridor and upstairs morning breakfast chairs scraping - easy solution is to add soft pads to the legs of the chairs? The pillows were a little too thick. We were in room 701 and you can quite loudly hear the next door neighbours pipes turn on with the shower which can be jarring.

Lovely spacious room. Balcony was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Right in the perfect zone in old quarter. Would happily stay again!

Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us Our room was so comfortable, the beds and pillows are really comfy and high quality Spa is lovely, we had the collagen facial which I’d highly recommend Breakfast was lovely and in a beautiful room on the top floor, lots of options for vegetarians too We have one more night in Hanoi before the end of our trip and we’ve booked to stay again because we were so happy with this place The manager was able to help us book a day trip to Ha Long Bay and had many options to suit our trip

Location and the staff were very helpful, Chris who helped organise our ha long bay trip and arrangement to the airport as well. They were very attentive and we enjoyed the cosiness of the hotel and the breakfast though small but very pleasant and tasty.

We really enjoyed our stay at Esplendor Hotel. The location was excellent near multiple sites and attractions. The front desk person Chris (sp?) was so helpful, especially with local vegetarian restaurant ideas, transportation, and laundry. This was our first time to Hanoi, and staying at the Esplendor was a perfect introduction to this vibrant and fascinating city. I highly recommend!

We loved this hotel. Upon arriving via a taxi, staff immediately greeted us and helped us with our bags. We were provided a welcome tea, and then helped to our room. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. The room itself was lovely, with plenty of storage space and it larger than expected. Despite being in the busy centre, the room was very quiet and we didn’t hear any noise from traffic etc. The hotel is situated in an ideal location, within walking distance to everything. We also enjoyed the breakfast too. Overall we’d definitely recommend this hotel and would return!

Lovely hotel in a quiet location, and easy walking for old quarter sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had a lovely ensuite bathroom. The whole place is tastefully decorated. There was a good selection available for breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff, especially Ms Lena Pham. They let us check-in early without charge, and also stored some of our luggage whilst we went on a week's tour. In total, we stayed 3 nights and we were very happy with this place. They also organised a transfer to Ninh Binh for us.

From arriving to leaving, the hotel staff could not have been any more helpful or do enough for you. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The breakfast area was very nice, food plentiful with a good choice. The Esplendor is in an ideal situation within the old quarter of Hanoi, providing easy access to Ho Hoan Kiem Lake, the Red Bridge and temple, Train Street, the water puppet theatre and the Hanoi Hilton (the old prison), all within 5 to 15 minutes on foot. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Hanoi.

Lovely small hotel in the perfect location. We stayed in the ‘honeymoon suite’ (39 years later!!)…a good sized room with a balcony. Very comfortable. With a great breakfast included. Very friendly staff. And their car to airport about the same price as Grab!

We had the honeymoon suite, with balcony. Room was clean and bed was really comfortable. Staff all lovely and very helpful. Lots of great places to eat nearby and about 10 minutes walk to the lake. We would definitely stay again.

This was one of the best stays we had in Vietnam. The room was super big, right in the heart of the city and extremely clean. The staff was also quite helpful. It's slightly on the expensive side, but well worth it!

Bathroom. Somehow when shower, there would be a minor leaks to the floor. Nothing major.

The staffs. Everyone so helpful, friendly and ready to assist. Lena was very engaging right from the start. She helped in organising an airport pick up, stress free. Breakfast was always hot and fresh. Location is right at Old Quarter and stone throw to everywhere.
