United StatesThe elevator stopped on the 9th floor and I stayed on the 10th but there weren't too many stairs maybe 10 and the staff helped with the bags.Also sink was outside bathroom but not to much hassle because it was a great utilization of space.
It was an excellent stay. The room was clean and spacious for the area. The sound insulation was great I could sleep and not hear too much noise even though it was their national day. I stayed on the 10th floor with a decent size balcony and view ( only down sided the elevator stops on the 9th floor).The night concierge made excellent recommendations. Check in and out was easy and billing was transparent. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety ( it lasted from 6- 10)and the staff was friendly and helpful Dung Nguyen did a great job.

United StatesWe stayed on the 10th floor, and on our last evening there the "sky bar" above us had some flooding from heavy rain, which led to a lot of noise as they moved furniture around. When we inquired, the staff immediately relocated us to the 9th floor without any hassle.
We stayed here two years ago and enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back. The location in the Old Quarter is perfect. The staff is polite and friendly, and the room is comfortable. It’s a small, no-fuss hotel with wonderful charm.

Pretty much every aspect exceeded my expectations. The staff were courteous, professional, and always available. They all speak fluent English if that is important to you. The room was spacious and comfy, and had one of the best showers I've ever used in Hanoi if not Vietnam. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable for the price, large variety with an attention to quality. Highly recommend and will def stay again
