Security and sleeping condition

Staff very friendly as usual in Vietnam. The hostel is in a very good location.

Bed is not comfortable as much as you move in you feeling it snaaping so much.

Ok, I dont consider myself overly picky or high maintenance when it comes to hostels, and I've stayed in probably close to 20 hostels in Vietnam, but unfortunately this one is at the bottom, at least is quiet at night, nice location, can pay with card, the young man was nice, and the ac + comforter provided a good temperature balance, also free drinking water and great internet.

But it has a lot to improve, a low price tells you that a hostel is not pretty, and that is ok, but even at a low price hostels should meet some minimum standards of cleanliness and comfort: * No slippers available when I went back at night, and dirty floors, especially bathroom and shower were just too gross to bare footed, I had to wash and use my own outside sandals * I booked a female room.. which was directly connected to the mixed or male room by an open doorway and the rest of the hostel, no keys, anyone can come in any time, so what is the point of calling it a female room????!!!!! * One toilet for everyone, stuck in a tiny room together with one of the two showers, and no soap left on any shower. * Hot or even warm water didn't seem to be working even after several minutes (I did turn on the switch). * Several areas in the box of the bed have not been cleaned in a while But the WORST... this is when I decided to change hostels and not come back: * The mattress was hyper hard, which is not a problem for me normally except for a malformation or huge hole(?) around where the lower back goes, which did not allow sleeping in a natural position. And to top it off: * Being woken up in the morning around 8 by a screaming child, suddenly, almost next to my bed, that was awful. * No toilet paper in the morning Just no. I wish this family the best but the place needs improvements, especially the mattress.

The receptionist, Mr Max, was very friendly and helpful. He helped book a last minute coach to Saigon. He made sure I got a taxi and arrived at the right place. Excellent service.

Everything is superb at this place, beds are super comfy, hostel and its facilities are clean, WiFi is fast and the location is super convenient to wander around the old quarter. Also, the staff is very kind and always happy to help.

Super cool place! Everything very clean and in working condition. Location is pretty good too. From there you can go anywhere.

The bed mattress was a bit thin, so not the most comfortable ever! But not bad at all.

I liked that it's a very affordable hostel. Being a budget traveller I prefer hostels such like this. On a good location too, everything is nearby.

Cleanliness in washroom, wasn't cleaned... Washrooms are very tiny. You can't do your job there in toilets because of a size of toilets lol Cleanliness in a washroom and size of toilets was shocking.

Cheap, good location, we have solo room for 2 people, bed is wide and room is clean and it’s very cheap to stay here.

Obviously, hostel toilets are not always clean. The doors are translucent, kinda feel weird to be in the cubicle and you see people walking by. Booked for couple of nights and end up staying for only 4 hrs, just couldn’t do hostels.

Hostel is located next to the turtle lake. Also you can eat delicious Bon Cha in the first floor. There is a nice terrace. The best part it’s the very friendly stuff especially Mr. Max who helped me a lot by sending me jacket to airport by motorbike (I forgot it in hostel)

Steps to upper bunk bed, it's not straight up, but slanted that easy and safe to climb up. Good location and friendly staffs. Beds are wide and comfy. Nice local restaurants are just nearby. Free drinking water is available.

Wifi signal is bit weak. Door makes noise when closing.

The location is pretty good and for the price it was really well equipped. Also the receptionist was very nice and friendly! I recommend.
