Room was clean, staff was freindly, and the location was convenient to tourist spots and restaurants. The breakfast was outstanding. Room was quiet at night which is pretty rare in Saigon. Free Wi-Fi was important for planning our trip to other cities. Most of the staff spoke English very well. We really enjoyed our stay!

Room was a bit small. Mini-fridge didn't get cold. No dedicated, secure space for short-term baggage storage.

The staff are outstanding. Very helpful. Shout out to Moon, super helpful, I don't think she ever sleeps. Vincent should have his own TV show. Also met Jan herself and she is lovely.

Very little to be critical of. For the price range it's very good indeed.

This is a very good hotel to stay, right near the busy Bùi Viện Walking Street but without the noise. Accessible to the main Trần Hưng Đạo road where you can get the public bus (No.152) to-and-from the Airport. It is located on a wider clean alley instead of the common narrow alleyways typically found in HCMC. The staff was extremely helpful when I needed to buy some things for a special occasion. There is a also a good laundry shop right next door! Thank you to "Jans", "Moon", "Minh" and all the other staff who I cannot remember the Vietnamese names (sorry). I understand that the owner has 3 different properties in that area, so I must have stayed at the best one.

The Lift is a bit small for anyone with big bags, but the boys will assist in delivering bags to your room. The dining area (breakfast included) is a bit warm and perhaps need better ventilation. No other facilities but it is ok, as I was always going out. And the weird thing in Vietnam, the location is where it is, but (don't know why?) Google Maps is just not accurate for most places !

A perfect place to stay in Ho Chi Minh. Moon is such a wonderful host and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and aid us with our trip planning. On arrival, Moon provided us with cool drinks and fresh fruit- a much needed treat after a long journey. Laundry service available next door and Moon helped with lots of information to enable us to enjoy our stay. She has a wonderful singing voice too! Lovely breakfasts with lots of great options.

Cautionary note...the showers get really hot!

Lots to like about the Jan Hostels, but mostly I liked the staff, especially Moon and Min, who both went way beyond the call of duty to make my stay in Saigon much better than good!

In sum, nothing, nada, zero! I fully enjoyed my 2 two night stays!

We stayed in both a double and deluxe. Standard room is small, but did the job and is good value for money. The staff were incredible! Giving us advice on tours, places to visit and helped us print our documents for our next destination.

Great location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Comfortable end and good air con, bathroom was excellent and shower had great water pressure. Really good value for money!

The staff were all super friendly. The location was great—close to a lot of the sites and nightlife on the walking street, but still felt secluded and quiet. The Vietnamese-style breakfast was also very tasty!

The room and bathroom could have been a little cleaner as I spotted a couple ants but not many and there were a few damages in the paint and on the tiles.

very good, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionists, ready to guide me to places to play and eat, breakfast was delicious pho and fruit, I liked the room I stayed in the most because it was very clean and tidy, this place is right in the center so it is very convenient to travel and shop, and I will continue to return to Vietnam and stay at Jan hotel because everything is very good thank you all at Jan hotel

Friendly staff. They offered some breakfast to go on days of early check-out and an early excursion. Location is central, but in a quiet street away from the busy main road.

Room is very small, bathroom is basic, breakfast is very simple. Photo's look a bit more stylush than it actually is. All in all good value for money.

Not only is it a great place to stay, the staff is also the nicest. Moon and her brother in particular are always is to help and are more than kind

Like other reviews also mentioned, the staff was amazing! Always smiling brightly and willing to help! The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Especially for the price, I can’t think of a better stay in Ho Chi Minh.

The room was very noisy so you can hear everything happening in the hallway. If there are louder guests at breakfast or in the hallway/lobby they might waker you up. Be mindful of that if you are a light sleeper. The shower was also not very hot at certain times, but this is avoidable.

Location, friendly and clean

Everybody was really kind and ready to help if needed. The room was perfect and clean, not so far from city center and clubs but without to hear all the noises from the street. We can only recommand !

We really enjoy living in Jan, with very nice and friendly staff. The location is perfect, and we can go everywhere in a very convenient way.

The staff really made this place feel like more than just a stopover. One of the team, Moon, was full of energy and kindness, even went out of her way to prepare me breakfast after I’d missed the usual time. That gesture alone sums up the vibe here. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the location made it easy to get around.

Nothing major. Just be aware it’s tucked slightly off the main road, peaceful, but not a party hotel.

The stuff is really cute and helpful! The rooms are really clean and bed is super comfy. Also the breakfast is truly tasty, you can enjoy it while staying there. Highly recommend this place🩷
