How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewHad an absolute great time staying here. The staff was very nice and humble, I got greeted with the biggest smile no matter the time of day. Room was big and comfy with both AC and a ventilator. I had a great view as well. The area is not that touristy, a lot of small shops, coffee places, restaurants and street kitchens, all run by locals and everyone was super nice and friendly. Bigger restaurants were in walking distance at the river. If you want to keep away from the overly touristic area on the other side of the river, this is the place to stay!

Shower did not get hot
Hello. Thank you for choosing Khanh Linh Hotel when coming to Da Nang. The shower is very hot however it cant be hot enough for 2 or 3 people have a shower continuously. Because each room has a 15-liter indirect bath water heater. So between the first and the second shower person, it needs from 5 to 10 minutes to reheat another hot water heater. Sorry for your not good experience. Thank you very much.

The fact that this place has a rating of 9 baffles me, the entire stay was horrible and I moved after the first night even though I had 3 planned. Thankfully I didn't pay upfront so there was no issue with having to pay for more than 1 night and the lady at the front desk was understanding. However the entire place is old and run down and the worst is that everything smells like old cigarettes, like the odour is stuck in the walls, which is not surprising considering the smoking area is in the hallway right outside the rooms. It's even worse in the bathroom where the odour mixes with the one of sewage. In the room I was in, pigeons where in front of the windows so there was a big sign not to open the windows otherwise they would get in. They poop and make noise right infront of the window which is not pleasant. On top of that there are dust mites crawling everywhere on the floor and walls (thankfully not in the bed) and although harmless it's not very pleasant. The location is honestly very mediocre and I didn't always feel safe when walking around as some men were trying to stop and talk to me and people were looking at me weird. I also heard a few screams that concerned me that were presumably coming from inside the building.

The hotel is completely newly built and has only been put into use for 3 years, and has been highly appreciated by guests for the quality and service of the hotel. The hotel has received your 1-night double room reservation on December 14, 2024 via Booking. The hotel has supported you to check in early without charge, and the amount you paid to the hotel is exactly the amount of 1 night that you booked on Booking after you stayed 1 night and the hotel upgraded your room from double to VIP to bring you the most comfortable feeling. Regarding the pigeons raised by our neighbors, we can only make a sharp net to prevent the birds from flying to and landing on the flower beds. There are “No smoking” signs in all rooms and smoking areas are located at the hallway windows. Smoking is not allowed in the hallway. We always pay attention to hygiene, but maybe there are still some shortcomings. We hope that when you check in, if there is any problem that really does not satisfy you, please let us know, we will take note and fix it immediately. On Booking, we clearly state the address and location of the hotel near the airport and this is an area where local people have long lived, so it is very safe and has never had any problems with residents and tourists.
