Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything from location of the hotel to the staff was absolutely perfect! They were all so helpful and went above and beyond for my wife and I. They really personalized the stay for us with a birthday cake and bedding decorations and we couldn’t be more happy with our stay at the Mayci Boutique hotel. We would certainly stay again when we find ourselves back in Hoi An.

A little hide away…. Away from town )not too far though). Quiet country lane. A couple of good Restuarant’s nearby. Staff are brightly helpful and obliging. Would happily stay here again

Lovely, clean and calm small hotel with super helpful and friendly staff. Booked for 3 nights and ended up staying for six nights. Nice trendy bedrooms and free bicycles

Felt like an upscale hotel! Just far enough out of town to be quiet/peaceful. The rooms are elegant and thoughtfully designed. The staff was phenomenal and so kind. We would love to come back!

No bogus review, this place was fantastic value for money. Peaceful surroundings within reach of hoi an, very kind staff, spotlessly clean, great breakfast, … Only three nights with rain and a 6-year old with gastro-entiritis (nothing to do with the hotel), but we truly enjoyed our stay! In short, don’t hesitate!

Tucked away but not too far from An Bang Beach or Old Town, especially if you’re on moped. Love the quiet serene setting, the kind staff, and the incredibly comfortable beds. Slept like a baby.

Mayci totally exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive, while the property offered a quiet and relaxing haven just 10 minutes away from the Old Town - around a 3 USD cab drive!

Brand new hotel with new pool. Rooms are clean and comfy. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is ok. Definitely good price for value.

The air circulation in the room was not that good. It would get really hot during the day. And the windows were tricky to open. So we did not get good air circulation during our stay.
We had a great time. It was a very quiet location and very peaceful. We loved the seating by the water and the waiting area at the entrance. I would recommend it to someone visiting hoi an who wants a more tranquil trip experience.

Nothing, only if you sensitive with noises of animal like rooster, cow and dogs
The location, it was between the nature and local people. It was very peaceful, no sounds of traffics. They have bikes available you can cycle to the old town and various rice fields in the neighborhood.

Amazing hotel!! The hotel was lovely and clean and comfortable and the staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great location if you want it a bit quieter from the hustle and bustle of the center. It was a little out from the centre of Hoian. It takes about 40min to walk, or there are free bikes you can grab from the hotel. In addition, the taxis are incredibly quick if you order via the grab ap. I think we normally waited about 2 min, the ride to the centre took less than 10 min, and it was on average around £1.20! The hotel were also incredibly helpful in arranging taxi transfers from the airport if you message them.

Clean and nice, brand new hotel in Hoi An. This place is great Superb, warm and always a friendly welcome from all of the staff, really wanting to make your stay great. Clean and comfortable room, If you choose to stay here, the driven cars offered are well priced (cheaper than cabs) and very convenient We loved our stay here.

It’s not very comfortable, nowhere to sit in the room, no where to put folded clothes. Breakfast, fairly modest, finishes at 9.00 am. No food or drink served after that. Except for a very good restaurant well hidden about 300 yards away called the Red Bridge, and which closes at 5.00 pm, nowhere to eat or drink or buy supplies anywhere within walking distance. The b and b is extremely noisy. It’s not bad but it’s over praised..
The Mayci is a b and b a couple of miles out of town. A nice setting in a somewhat scruffy area. Pleasant staff. Clean and good housekeeping.
