AustraliaGetting to the hostel required passing through an alley, if arrive by car, it can be difficult to drop off. Also, the bathrooms do need a modern ungrade to create a feeling of cleanliness.
Nice and quiet area. Staffs were extremely helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Airconditioner switched on before you arrive to welcome was a thoughtful approach. Staffs happy to deliver water bottles when requested.

United KingdomRooms had stained sheets, ants, no free refills on drinking water, we had to request a second towel (for a two person room). The pictures were not accurate, the first room we booked had no window and peeling wall stickers. We switched rooms to a much nicer room, but still had issues (ants, no toilet paper, one towel to share). Budget friendly, but be warned the private tour has no tour guide. You get what you pay for! We wouldn't stay again.

AustraliaOur room had a separate bedroom and a mini lounge/ kitchen area which had an open brick wall where people could see in and we could see out to the stairwell. There were curtains but this did not mask the sound coming in or going out. AC and TV weren’t that great either.

VietnamI originally booked the small room for my parents, who went on this trip. It’s much smaller than expected and too humid. However, the staff is willing to change the room for an apartment upstairs, with some extra fee.
The location is good, very close to the centre of the city. The big room (apartment) is of good value. It is big enough for a small family and quite clean.

IndiaThe room was rather gloomy. The walls were in need of a coat of paint. The grey bedcover was hiding another bedsheet underneath which was covered in stains. The bathroom door was transparent and the toilet roll they provided was also of v poor quality.
The front desk staff was very helpful. They did our bus booking for Rach Gia and shared all the information with us in advance. The location was convenient as it was very close to the pier from where the boat tours for Mekong Delta start. This is a big advantage as the tours start very early in the morning before daybreak.

AustraliaThe strange design of the apartment. There is a wall that is open to the staircase, so people can see into the living area and you can hear and smell a lot of things. However, the bedroom is totally enclosed and quiet.
The location is excellent. In a quiet alley that was reminsicent of Bangkok. The staff were really friendly. The facilities were good to cook with and there was a great view of a crumbling French-era building out the window.

VietnamThe intentionally wrong address. The address is 6/9, which means it's in an alley. I wouldn't have minded if they were up front about it. However, they use the wrong address on purpose so the place appears to be on the main street. What they didn't realise is that made it impossible to find the place.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. The VIP rooms look really good.
