How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They need to add the price list of the mini bar right next to it, not hide it in the welcome pack the other side of the room and knowing not many people will read it. They also called me 30 mins before check it to remind me to check out by 12. A call is only necessary if late in actually doing it. Air conditioning took forever to cool the room and even then if was never ‘cold’ but comfortable.

1. No power point in the bathroom, so electric toothbrush, shaver, hair dryer all have to stay in the kitchen. 2. It would be trivial to install a proper full-length mirror. The mirror in the desk is only for putting on makeup.

Staff were very good but communication was an issue and I have been coming to Vietnam for 10 years and this would be the most difficult hotel for communication i have encountered

We liked everything, but found it a bit unfortunate that we could not check into our room when we arrived at 3:30pm (the check in time is at 2pm). Other than that, really no complaints

There's not much going on around the hotel. It took us about 15/20mins to walk down to the main beach area where all the restaurants are etc. Theres no breakfast or dinner facilities at this hotel.

Verified reviewVery spacious room, cleaning service everyday and very attentive staff. The night market/dragon bridge as well as the beach can be reached by foot in about 20 minutes, respectively. There were lots of restaurant options nearby (and I hereby want to recommend CƠM BƯNG NƯỚC RÓT RESTAURANT & HOMESTAY which served fantastic authentic viennese food for a cheap price).

Verified reviewThe value for money was really good. The place was clean, the room was big enough, sheets were nice-smelling, no weird spots or anything. No cockroaches, ants or anything. Noise level from outside noticable but not bad, at least with the window closed. Pool area pleasant and water, while not super clean, clean enough for me. The blue stuff someone else mentioned that was poured into the water is pool cleaner, though I could not verify whether it was chlorine or something else, due to communication difficulties. Staff was mostly friendly. When a pipe was leaking in the bathroom, leaving wet spots on the floor, it was fixed quickly. I could also borrow a bowl from the "restaurant" floor, though no spoon. Location in the middle between beach (about 10-12min) and promenade (10min)/city center (20min), making both walkable but the area itself did not have that many options for food or activities. There is a 24h supermarket that has all the basics across the (big) street, also a spa, though comparatively pricey. Supposedly there are buses running but I did not see a single one in the whole time I was there and in the full hour I spent at a bus stop waiting for one, that staff claimed ran every 10-15min, so your guess is as good as mine for that.
Communication can be a bit difficult and staff is on a learning curve. It's Vietnam, but it is also a hotel, so a certain level of English ability could be expected. But in 99% of the exchanges I had to bring out the translator, even for easy inquiries, like about soap. When I could not understand the question of the staff, due to pronunciation, they seemed to get somewhat annoyed. At some point I stopped asking them for support with things like money exchange or information about public transport, since they could not give an answer or, in one instance, gave me wrong information. Pre-arrival it was very difficult to receive info about pick-up and not even basic info was volunteered. Other than that, there were some small things that could be improved: The room door would only close properly if you forcefully pulled, not to say slammed, it shut. Otherwise it would beep and flash red. Soundproofing: I guess it depends what you compare it to, but you could hear the guests from other rooms speaking, even if you both were in your own rooms and they were not adjacent. You can also hear it very well, if someone above you moves chairs around. Pool: All but one time I had to go find someone to put up the parasols at the pool side. Considering this is a rooftop pool with zero other shade, it could be assumed that the parasols are automatically set-up in the morning, leaving guests to unfurl them when needed. On arrival, I asked two separate staff about the opening hours. I was told it was open 24h. Two days before I left, a sign was attached to the wall, which defined opening hours as 7-9 /16-19. I do not know how well this was enforced, (did not go afterwards anymore), but if these were to be the opening hours, then during my stay, I basically would have never been able to use the pool, which means the main reason for booking this hotel would be gone.
