Minh was such a great host that we spent two nights here either side of our trip into the phong nha national park. Very comfy beds and huge rooms, wonderful host and lots of good restaurants in short walking distance

Nothing comes to mind. The hotel seemed to be under renovation some bits but I’m sure that will be covered soon. Shower could have had a curtain but that might’ve just been our room.

Location and staff. The owner’s son was very friendly and accommodating. We arrive very early morning around 6am and he let us check-in. When we were leaving Dong Hoi to grab our bus he told the grab driver where to drop us off. Definitely a great hospitality. There were lot of nice restaurants around.

Hard to watch tv as it is on the side wall, but that's the only unused wall they had. And you don't really go on holidays to watch a movie anyway!

Lovely hotel. Great location. Very helpfull people, I forgot to return the key from the previous hotel in Hanoi and he mailed it for me. Son speaks perfect English. Large room.

Excellent hotel, lovely modern large room with AC, TV, mini fridge and good shower with warm water. The owner, his son and all the other members of staff treat us like family rather than customers. They are very kind good people. Please if you come to Dong Hoi stay here you won't regret it. We will be back ❤️

Choosing this hotel was a great decision, the owner is a very nice person, as well as the entire hotel staff, very polite, nice and helpful. The owner had prepared a map for us with the most important attractions of the town, which was very helpful, he also offered us help in booking trips, recommended where to eat well and cheaply, and also arranged for us personal transport to the meeting point, from where we were leaving by bus to Hanoi. He extended our check-out by a few hours and took care of our luggage after check-out, so that we did not have to wander with luggage around the town. I have not met such cordial people as this hotel staff in the whole of Vietnam, we highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.

An amazing hotel ,owned by the most beautiful people in Vietnam,our room was huge,super clean with the most astonishing view of the sea,big toilet and shower ,the owners is a lovely family that sees there customers like there own family ,advices and any help we could get was freely given to us with the most happiness,walking distance to the 2 vegan vegetarian restaurants,the fruit and cloth market is about an easy walk of 25 minutes passing from canals and beautiful parks ,I would say the kindest Vietnamese people live in dong Hoi ,the neighbourhood salutes you with a smile while walking without the need to sell you something,the hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood,the air-conditioning in the room is clean (no mold smell)

The stairway was under construction, the drywall in the ceiling needed to be repaired.

The staff was very accomodating. Dong Hoi being a small town with very little to do apart from the caves, I was able to do my laundry and the sweet staff helped with my further travel bookings with no extra charge. The property is a very good location with multiple cafe's restaurants at walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

The hot water is not sufficient.

We found exactly what we needed for a night stay during our road trip: a comfortable bed, a clean room, and a parking space.

As others will note, there is a bit of construction in the lobby right now. Something mandated by the building inspector as the relocate a staircase in the lobby level. That didn’t bother us for our stay though as the workers finish up at a reasonable hour and the staff makes sure everything is cleaned up at the end of the day. We had a great stay though, and extended our stay an extra night. Wifi could be better, but that is likely more of an issue with the provider than the hotel. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Great location. Easy to walk around the older part of town or along the river. We were on the 7th floor with amazing views. The place is very clean. Be sure to have the hotel book your cave tour and transportation. They get much better prices than what we could find online.

1)Wonderful location, 5 min walk to get seaside, 10 min walk to get market and main street for food and shopping. 2)Manager Quang is super nice. He is humble and sincere. He spend so much time to help me for flight change, which is really not his job. I can't expect more for a hotel.

There was nothing we could fault, highly recommend!

Everything about the property was amazing! Beds were comfortable and clean, shower was nice and powerful. The best thing however was King Quang, what a man 🙌🙌 couldn’t have been more helpful, picked us up from where we got dropped, and then arranged a perfect tour for us the following day at a really good price. He also sorted our transport to Da Nang and was constantly on WhatsApp for any of our problems. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Dong Hoi, and I would come back just to visit Quang again.
