Loved it all!

Family run hostel. Van is incredibly welcoming and creates a great atmosphere. She organizes tours, offers recommendations and takes great care of you. Hostel is very clean. Common area was great! offers free tea, coffee, and bananas. Loved that! Their dog Jackie is the friendliest and cutest dog in all of Vietnam. I will miss him. Roof top BBQ was delicious even as a vegetarian! Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. Very fast internet. Great location, gym, massage, food, Winmart all in walking distance. Highly recommend.

Impossible to move the place closer to the centre but I did not mind the walk to the place.

Fantastic atmosphere! Great BBQ on the rooftop in the evening and incredibly clean. Also awesome for arranging tours and transport. Absolutely recommended!

This is my favourite hostel in all of Asia!!! Upon check in you get a towel to use for your stay. There is free tea, coffee, water and bananas in the common room and all of the staff are so lovely, helpful and get to know your name instantly! The rooms are huge and spacious with comfortable, private beds! They help you book tours and buses at a very reasonable price, they offer breakfast which is affordable and tasty and make sure you head to the BBQ Family Dinner, it's a great way to get to know your fellow dorm mates! Very social place with a great area to relax with beanbags and comfortable chairs

I had such a lovely stay at this hostel in Da Lat. 😊 The receptionist was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and made me feel welcome from the very first moment. Everything was spotlessly clean! The location was great as well! One of the absolute highlights was the adorable dog 🐶 who loved to cuddle 🥰 — such a sweet touch that made the place feel even more like home. I also really enjoyed the complimentary tea, ☕️ which was incredibly delicious, and the bananas 🍌 available for guests. It is not a party hostel, so I could enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay. The beds were large and extremely comfortable — even in the dorms — which made for perfect nights of sleep. 😴 🛌 I would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Da Lat. Highly recommended! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Had the best stay in Mookas Home. The family are so lovely and were so helpful with booking tours and transfers from Dalat. The family dinner on the roof was a highlight! Beds are comfortable and clean. Would highly recommended.

They allow smoking right in the lobby doorway so cigarette smoke wafts all through the reception and eating area. And there are some serious smokers that stay there. It's almost as if there is always a person smoking at the door. I genuinely feel smokers should be ushered way out of the way, maybe even off property, and there is always cigarette smoke stinking up this hostel ground floor. The water pressure out of the toilet sprayer is really high. Too high. Messily so. Bidet intended for cleaning graffiti off brick walls.

The staff is genuinely sweeter than pie! The rooftop barbeque they host every other night or so is super quality. It's absolutely delicious. 11/10.

Wasn’t too much around but only a 15 minute walk to town so no bother at all.

A large property with spacious double rooms as well as dorm options. Very much a cross between a homestay and a hostel. The rooms look exactly how they are pictured on booking, unlike a lot of places we have stayed in Vietnam The host was amazing and so helpful. The place had a really nice vibe where everyone hung out in the common room. They even had a rooftop with billiards too. Also had ping pong table which was brought out on the evening The family BBQ is a must and fantastic value for money.

Very clean, great staff and very good value. The vibe is both social and relaxed, and the location is good - on a quieter side of town which I much preferred to the more crowded places. The service is exceptionally attentive, the place is run by a very nice family and it really feels like a home. Highly recommended!

The best hostel we have stayed in so far on our travels. A lovely family run business and the staff are so kind, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. I’m vegetarian, so this was great. You can also buy cooked meals during the day, these were also amazing with vegetarian options. I got tofu and vegetarian beef noodles- and they were delicious. Not only this but there is also a BBQ every other night, again as a vegetarian there were so many options and the food was amazing. It was also a great opportunity to meet others staying in the hostel. We stayed in a private room and the bed was super comfy. The room itself was spacious, very clean and modern. It was also really quiet so we slept amazing. There is a lovely communal area downstairs with free coffee, tea and bananas and bean bags to chill on. Every day they bring out a table tennis table, which we loved. We were also sent a really detailed list of recommended restaurants, top tips for Dalat, etc. which was so helpful. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

The room was spacious and clean, and got cleaned after 2 nights. The barbecue on the roof is lovely and a great way to meet people. The location is good, very quiet but only 15mins walk to town. The staff are very friendly & helpful. They offer a good and cheap breakfast, and free water, coffee, tea & bananas.

We loved Mooka's! Van and her family were fabulous hosts. Van was so welcoming and friendly and the hostel was very well organised. The breakfast was very delicious and the family dinner was loads of fun. Our private room was great for the price. Would highly recommend.

Best vibes in Da Lat. Huge beds, exceptionally clean, and don't worry about the lack of air con - you won't need it here! And the staff are fantastic 😊 I highly recommend the rooftop barbeque - it's super cheap, the food is delicious, and it's a fantastic way to meet people! The hostel will book tours for you - please do the mario kart and the canyon tours.
