Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Everything☺️ The villa was huge and the private pool a great addition. However, we spent most of the time at the large pool and slides by the beach. Even though it was rainy season we enjoyed our time very much. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of fresh options and freshly prepared food from Korea, Vietnam and other countries.

SwitzerlandThe resort is huge! Per staff almost 500villas! It was quiet time between holidays, so the place wasn’t fully booked, but if all villas are in use, there are a couple thousand (!) people in the resort - I wouldn’t want to be there then…

AustraliaThe location was 35 minutes from the main town which meant each time you wanted to go outside of the resort it was a 1 hour round trip. I asked for fresh milk for my son (who is younger than 1 y.o) and they charged me VND610,000 which is AUD$38 for 1L of milk. This was the most disappointing thing about the resort. Milk costs VND90,000 (AUD~$5) in the supermarket. There's a mark up, and then there is extortion. There is a kitchen in the villa but they charge you to use the gas which seems ridiculous given you are paying for a fully equipped villa, and also not stated in the booking. There was nothing provided to wash dishes either. They could have more food options on site, restaurants felt like they were the same foods after being there for a few days but there are no other options. There are also no washing facilities in your villa. Again these took away from the experience due to the expectation that a villa would have these things for a family. This was the main reason we booked a villa so very disappointing when it didn't have these basic things.
The resort, and beach it is on, was beautiful and the facilities were very good (just like the images). The villas were extremely spacious and clean. The restaurants had nice food and the staff were exceptional (friendly and polite). The F&B Director (Jaye) made a special effort to ask guests for feedback, and we enjoyed having a chat with him. Buggies were very quick to arrive to take you around the resort. Overall it was a nice experience.

AustraliaRestaurant prices are astronomical when compared to the rest of Vietnam but also even compared to Sydney prices. There’s also not a whole lot of selection & difficult to find cost effective lunches or snacks if eating at the resort. Kids menu was reasonable. We found better value restaurants just outside the resort for dinner most nights.
Lovely rooms with private pool as well as the huge main resort pool. So much to do for little kids (8 & 5yrs) with the kids pool area, splash park with water slides, indoor kids club with a slide, ball pit & drawing. A little less structured than other resorts with kids being able to sign up for things eg bead making, or come & go as they wanted throughout the day. The beach is lovely with clear water and only small waves when windy. Lots of breakfast variety and constantly refilled throughout. The gym facilities are good. Despite other recent reviews we had no issues with pool towels or staff not speaking English who were very quick to find someone who could.

AustraliaIt took very long wait time to get food and drinks, you have to put pool towels down early in the morning to reserve pool or beach chairs, very expensive for food and drinks.

ArmeniaThe problem was with sun bed, because it really hard to find free sunbed at the beach or pool. I suggest that personal must control if person don’t show up 3 hours that clean the sunbed. Because all people take place at 6 am and come to the beach at 3pm. It’s terrible.
In the resort the personal is good, cleaning is good, food at breakfast is good.

GuernseyThere was a lack of sunbeds around the pool and on the beach not helped by people “reserving” them with towels (but not actually sitting on them for hours and hours) so nowhere to sit for our family other than the sand for the first week of our fortnight. Now what you expect from a quality resort. The evening buffer food was nice but not kept warm enough. The filters didn’t work in our villa pool so there were always insects and other floating matter so we hardly used it
The villas were very nice and spacious. The swimming pool was enormous and the beach was nice and sandy. Lots of choice of food. Service was good.

United KingdomThe staff in the main office were not as polite or accommodating as one might expect. For instance, after moving a bed against the wall to prevent my child from rolling off, I discovered that the floor underneath was very dirty. When I called to request it be cleaned, the response was not apologetic but simply, "You shouldn't have moved the bed." Additionally, they were very inflexible with room cleaning times. Despite having a 6-month-old baby and requesting cleaning to be scheduled around his nap times, they were unable to accommodate this, leaving us without cleaning for multiple days.
Getting around the resort was easy, thanks to the excellent shuttle service. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The pool was lovely, and the kiddy pool and slides were a great bonus. However, do ensure your young child wears water shoes while playing on the slides, as they were quite slippery, and I noticed several falls while playing with my toddler. The drivers, catering staff, and housekeepers were all friendly and helpful. The onsite nurse was fantastic!

Hong KongA severe lack of sunbeds and towels around the pool and beach area. Unless you reserved a lounger at 7am then you had no chance. It was frustrating when many villas had loungers in their gardens which were clearly not being used. Housekeeping could be improved. Rooms could be cleaned more thoroughly and bed sheets changed.
The staff were wonderful. It was extremely busy when we stayed and they all worked so hard, always smiling and trying to help. The hotel is set on the most beautiful beach. White sand and clear blue water. Hotel grounds/ gardens are lovely. Food in the restaurants was very good. We really liked the outdoor evening buffet with live band.
