Bed had privacy curtains, excellent mattress. cool and clean bed sheets. Location is central but weekend and holiday traffic around the hostel, forces closure of streets, when no taxi or traffic can reach the hostel.

I stayed in an 8-bed dorm, which is among the smaller rooms at Nexy. The room felt a bit cramped, but each bed had its own privacy curtain, electric socket, and reading lamp, making it feel like a small private nook. I'm not sure if the other rooms are similar in size, because I was informed that the room I stayed in is the smallest in the hostel.

The social vibe is great, with plenty of communal areas to meet others. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, even arranging local attractions. The place is kept clean with multiple daily cleanings. Plus, it's located right in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you're close to everything. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi!

Unfortunately no hot water for 3 nights of our stay but a handyman did fix it eventually. Slightly low on recommendations when asked about bars which felt unusual for a hostel but not too much of a problem as we used Google maps instead. Nothing off-putting would still recommend here if you want a central hostel that's quiet.

The Hostel raves about being social but it felt very transactional. The rooms or at least the one I had was quite narrow so that everyone put their backpacks next to the bed because the lockers are too small for the big backpacks

a kitchen area would be good with tea and coffee facilities the floor space in the dormitory is tiny - 8 beds in a 20sqm room, so there's no opportunity to talk to your dorm mates

well presented hostel with ample communal space (common room, pool and table football, library and roof terrace) the staff are very efficient, and all speak excellent English they have "coffin style" pod-beds which are arranged depth ways into the room. each pod has its own light and power socket with a curtain at the foot end to close off for privacy. In hostels that I've visited in other countries, the dorm beds are usually organised long ways against the walls and are open - so feel more communal. the coffin arrangement makes everyone a bit insular and isolated. maybe it's a Vietnam thing? At first, I really didn't think I'd like it - but boy, did I get a great sleep without any pesky windows letting the sunlight in on me. Each bed space has a lovely big locker, so your stuff is safe. the bathrooms and showers are very clean with hot water

I booked a 6 am bus to Sa Pa with them and the morning transfert was a little chaotic.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed. The staff (thin and wearing glasses) was incredibly rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. On top of that, there was no air conditioning until 5pm, making the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable

it gets hot during the hours they don't use AC and Hanoi was more humid than I was expecting.

Beds are comfy. The hostel is cozy. Bathroom ok and super clean. The staff helped me so much, they helped me to switch my room because the 4 beds room felt so tiny.

I personally don't like the arrangement of the private room: the bathroom is in front of the bed and has no concrete wall but only a blurred glass, which does not cover much. I perosnally prefer more privacy, but this is down to personal preferences.

Great service. Staff was friendly and always ready to help. The service and assistance recieved from reception was amazing, they booked for us a bunch of experiences and then they were always available to assist in case of change of plan during any of this experiences (we did sa pa and ha long bay through them. Room was clean.

The showers and bathrooms here weren't the cleanest.

Nice little place located centrally in the Old Quarter and the staff here were very kind and helpful. The rooms were nice and cool, and the beds were the extremely comfortable. The layout of the lockers (directly underneath your bunk) makes it very convenient to access your luggage. Can't emphasise how helpful this is for backpackers.

It was kind of hot at night and for the staff to change the ac temperature they had to call maintenance to unscrew the barrier from the wall and it was really complicated

Very comfortable bed, decent showers. Pretty good location, in heart of Hanoi. Though, not much dining options late night. Great staff and bar, area to hangout and play games.
