Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe place is not far from the main attractions of the city by using Grab. A street with night bars is close. The place is calm. I had the room #403 which is comfy and fonctional as well as the bathroom with all products needed. A lot of restaurants are reachable walking. The people is nice and very helpful.

GermanyLoud early morning music from a nearby cemetery
Ly was very helpful in getting up and letting me in at 4:30 am, in renting me a scooter at a fair price and in organizing my onward journey in a way that I got picked up at the hotel (therefore not having to wait at the bus company until everybody gathered).

United StatesAs mentioned, the stairs to the elevator and the room was pretty small. The mattress could use to be replaced, but I was so tired, I slept well anyway.
There are stairs to climb to get to the first floor, where you can then access the elevator. (I always choose hotels with upper floor access by elevator, so I found this to be a tad misleading.) I was exhausted when I arrived from Da Lat by bus, so the kindest, efficient and very hospitable young woman, "Sam" the receptionist sensed this and brought my suitcase to my room. The room was small but clean, I stayed only 2 nights, so it was OK. It's close to everything in D1, restaurants, attractions, September 23rd park and also close to the buses on Pham Ngu Lao Street that I'd take back to Phnom Penh. Down a quiet alleyway, and far enough away from the music from Bui Vien.

United KingdomThe bed wasn’t very comfortable and was very high (fold up bed in the small single budget room. This may not apply to the other rooms)
The hotel warned me in advance of how tiny my room was so it was nice to have the heads up. The staff were super helpful, my fridge wasn’t working and they came and fixed it straight away. Decent WiFi and air con.

SerbiaThey should definitely paint the walls at least because they are so dirty and someone really left a mess there. The staff didn't even clean it and it smelled unpleasant. I also found ants in the bathroom.
I booked a very small room without a window and I didn't mind about that as I stayed only for a night. The bed was comfy and the room had AC and a small fridge. It's a good option for a short stay and the location was great, very central but still in a small and quiet street.

South AfricaNoise from the bars at night (you can see the bars from the room window). TV didn't work, it was broken. Very steep stairs to get to the roof. Shower over toilet (very small), and not in room where you sleep, it's outside. The outside area was a mess.. Random, broken furniture, mattresses, etc. was dumped there. There was a chair for me to sit and enjoy the view though. Room was very, very hot seeing as it's on the roof, but at least the aircon worked perfectly.
Location is perfect. Close to so many good restaurants, shops, bars and clubs. Elevator.... Stairs to get to the upper floor, and stairs again to get to the roof, but elevator in the middle. I had the whole top floor to myself, seeing as there is only one room on the roof, and the view was amazing from the roof and the room. The window in the room blocked out the sun. Aircon worked great, that room was very hot (due to it being on the roof). I booked a twin bed room, beds and pillows were comfortable, enough space for one person. Open clothes rack to hang clothes, hairdryer, mirror. Power sockets next to bed. Water pressure was great, removable shower head. The roof area below the top floor had a chill area where you could eat and drink something. Wifi was great. Check-in process was quick, friendly and easy.

PhilippinesI arrived early in the morning and noticed a rat scurrying outside. But then this is the middle of Saigon so it's not really surprising. The room is clean though. Ac takes time to cool the room.
The room is cute, worth the price. I got a free upgrade from solo to double room that has a window. You can get unlimited free water everyday, just ask the staff. Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Staff is super helpful :)

CanadaWe got off to a rough start. Apparently our room had been booked for another person simultaneously and when we got there the receptionist told us that our booking has been canceled. Understandably we were not happy. But then after some negotiating they said we can stay in the room we had booked. From then on the staff was nice to us. The room was very small, but it was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The location is great in terms of having many food options and also being next to the nightlife and also the main bus stop to get to the airport. So all in all it was a great place and we were pleasantly satisfied. The only issue some may have (that wasn’t a problem for us), is that at night the very loud sound of the clubs and bars nearby can be heard in the room even though it seemed to be soundproof. But overall i think it’s a good choice for the price we paid.

GermanyDue to no window, the air is quite bad in this room.
I was looking for a cheap stay between two flight days, therefore I booked a very little room without windows. You can only flip down the bed if the door is closed. It is very close to restaurants and the bus stop. Also, it was so nice to sit at the top and calm down a bit. No other guest apart from me was there.

FranceI did not expect a luxury 5-star hotel, but I did expect a comfortable bed. While I prefer a firm mattress, the bed in the room I had was far too hard. The hotel seems to be undergoing some redecoration/refurbishment. I am not sure if they think they have finished with the room I occupied, but there are items that need to be seen to: floor tiles in the bathroom are very slippery when wet – dangerous! Black mould is starting to form in the bathroom; if the hotel continues with its policy of only cleaning a room every two days, and even then only on request, the problem will worsen. There are redundant light switches and the light switch for the main room is in not near the door. There is a desk/dressing table but there is no chair/stool to enable one to use it. There is no bedside light meaning one has to get into and out of bed in the dark. Bare electrical cables poking out of the wall. It does not give a welcoming feel to find access and egress semi-blocked by parked motorcycles in front of the entrance.
The staff and the location are positive elements. The points I make below are made in the spirit of helping this hotel get better.
