How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Just a recommendation: put a sign to recognise the place, would be easier for the taxi when pick up and drop off.
The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, everything was clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

A bit noisy from the airport but that is me I am a bit sensible at noise so maybe have ear plugs if u really sensible but I was abel to sleep im just beeing honest on my part you might not even encounter my problem
I liked that it was close to the airport and we need a place for our layover in hoian so it was perfect the help that we get from the owner it was 10 out of 10 he even call us a good taxi not scammed ones because the real grab was a bit far the owner is a good and very nice man it was a pleasure meeting him and his beautiful family

The couple running this homestay are lovely, friendly amd helpful. Took my daughter on a scooter ride to find a coffee this morning and printed out our boarding passes for our flight today!

There were some ants in the bedroom, but it wasn't that big of a bother.
The house is near the the airport, which makes it a great choice for catching an early flight the next day. The host was really friendly and helped us book a taxi when we couldn't find any Grab drivers near by. The bedroom & bathroom areas were nicely cleaned and decorated, providing a comfortable stay.

I didn’t meet the host, but he was extremely kind and supportive! The room is nice, the stay is near the airport. Thank you again for your kindness! Recommend ☺️ Loved the swing inside !

The owner was very helpful, he offered us to have lunch with them and was a real hero when we could not find a Grab to go to the airport in the middle of the night. He did his best to find us a taxi and finally drive us to the airport so we could catch our plane on time!

Lovely big room and comfortable bed, great place if you're flying into or out of Hanoi, only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. Very friendly owners, very hospitable and allowed me a very late check-out to coincide with my flight

Very friendly people, they even got me some very good local food. The room was perfect, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended if you need to stay near the airport.

Nothing at all. It is a bit off the main part of the city but to incomers or someone who needs a proper sleep before s long flight - perfect
Close from the airport, early check-in - the host accommodated us during very early Hours and we could rest and sleep off the flight without issues. Bed and mattress quality and overall the room.

We’ve got an amazing stay there. Easy check in, the house is very nice, the bed is super comfy. Everything was very clean. The host are amazing, they bring us food for dinner, help us booked our taxi for the next day early morning and she get up to wait the taxi with us, super nice!

All good.
Fairly modern hotel decorated in traditional Vietnamese style. The room was spacious with the balcony with the view on a smal village. I really enjoyed the place. I stayed there because I had to catch the flight next day but I think is worth staying more than one night. Comfy massive bed. Charming authentic village with no tourist ( except those from the hotel :) 15 -20 min to the shop and village restaurants. The owner is also helpful and communication in English is smooth.

Helpful staff. Really large room too with a big bed and balcony, amazing for the price . Think a grab to the airport was about 70,000 Dong .
