How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room service . Cleanliness no phone in the room . No breakfast. Terrible view. Bad WiFi. Airport taxi didn't turn up so paid twice the price for a taxi

It was poor on the cleanliness. I mean bed sheets and towels were clean but the walls and furniture was worn and grubby. The place would be perfect with a decor renovation.
The staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. Location perfect.

The room is basic which I know but this room’s walls on the 3 rd floor were all full of water stains and smelling of mould and wet paint! I did not like it ! Air con etc was good!

However, there is one small glass window at the corner has no curtain which is bit weird, people from other buildings can still see inside if you stand in front of that window. There is a weird sound that sounds like a washing machine appear from time to time, not so loud but still noticeable. The bathroom is clean.
Spacious room, I booked room with 1 big bed and they offered 2 queen beds. The room is on top of the building with nice view. The room is big. The beds are comfortable and clean. The tv is extra large.

The Wi-Fi on our floor (5th floor) was awful, and I informed the receptionist several times. Although he tried his best to fix the issue, after two days, we couldn't use Wi-Fi in our room and had to go to the lobby. Another thing, the location was good and near the CBD, but the street where the hotel was located was too busy, with lots of people selling everything on the street.
The room was clean and big enough for two persons. It wasn't a top-range hotel, and our expectations were based on an eco hotel in the city center. Generally, it was okay, and we were happy to choose this hotel, though there were some drawbacks.

The room I booked for 4 nights was not available the first night. They gave me a room without TV and some missing curtains. I've been obliged to move in another room the second day. TV doesn't have any international channels, only in Vietnamese... not good for international tourists!

We got one of the cheaper rooms, which didn’t look like the ones on the photos. It was fine, because we had a 50% discount. But the room smelled like cigarettes and we had no light from outside, which was a little depressing. The mattress was also not so comfortable

The last week the neighboring hotel sign decided to act like a disco and made it hard to sleep ad the curtains weren't dark enough to block that out. And the shower kept falling off the wall. Needs to have a shower curtain to keep water where it should be.
It was a good central location to where other family members stayed wad easy to navigate around for food and entertainment.

The hot water is not work for taking shower.
The location is good. You can find thousands of food nearby. It’s easy to walk around and see the city. The staff is helpful.

It could've been cleaner. BUT I did stay in the dormitory room so I wasn't expecting much, after all if people are dirty so is the room. I've been in much better dormitories for half the price.

The aircon is almost not working. Could do some repainting and tidying of the 7th floor.
It was very affordable. The cheapest actually. Bed is comfortable. With fridge in the bunk room. Free 2 bottles of water everyday and they change your towel daily. 😊 Very walkable distance to Bui Vien.

The pillows were very hard, bad for my neck. I asked for softer ones, but they were the same. Staff does not speak much English, not very helpful in explaining. The rooms had a kettle, but no coffee or tea supply, which was offered in previous stay.
Location is good, close to everything but still a bit away from the tourist and backpacker centre. Lots of restaurants around. Some nice small restaurants around. Last day we discovered 3 vegetarian restaurants close by, which was great, as it’s not easy to find meat free dishes, if you don’t want to eat stir fry noodles and banh mi all day. Room is clean, basic and inexpensive. All you need for a short stay in Saigon.
