Wonderful staff (accommodating, helpful), cleanliness, great location (close to vivid streets/alleys of local shops and eateries), room with essential commodities and a good city view.

Efficient and polite staff, spacious, clean and well equipped rooms, a convenient location. We had a room on the eighth floor, so it was very quiet. Susan at the front desk was very helpful in helping us sort out a problem we had experienced during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location is not accessible by car, which is a challenge if you have many luggage. It is near many places, such as famous food places, souvenir shops, landmarks, and even a supermarket. The staff let us in way earlier than the check-in time, which helped us a lot in order to prepare for our tour upon arrival.

The door in one of our room cannot close properly, it was okay but a bit of a struggle.

Hotel is in old town and inside small street, needs to walk around 300m to get access to the road to get onto car. Quite a lively and friendly neighbourhood with lots of tasty street foods.

a bit difficult to walk in the small and busy streets, but worth to get the experience.

Location ideal. Room was clean, bathroom great with good water pressure. Bed comfy. Mini bar well stocked. Reasonably priced. People were lovely.

No air con in breakfast area or hallways. Air con in room was clearly quite dated and temperamental. Breakfast options fairly limited. Overall hotel felt quite dated and could do with a glow-up. Can probably get somewhere a bit nicer for same money in this area

Front desk staff are kind and respectble Breakfast selection is fine, lovely chef

Getting to hotel can be very time consuming. I did travel there on the 5 day holiday though, so understandable. Not the hotels problem.

The location was super convenient - right in the city center and really close to restaurants and souvenir shops. We only stayed for a night and slept for a few hours. The room was clean, but it looked a bit old as there were some parts of the floor starting to peel. The hotel has a lift, which was super helpful for seniors and PWDs. What we really appreciated was that they packed our breakfast to-go since we had to check out at 4am to catch our flight - such a nice gesture! Overall, the staff were really friendly and did their best to adjust to whatever we needed.

The room was a bit on the pricey side, especially compared to other hotels nearby that were nicer and more affordable.

Susan on reception was lovely and very helpful and informative, she booked our overnight train to Sapa and Limousine bus back for us. The young bellboy was amazing took us to the train STN and waited for us and got us on our train.

The hotel is a little tired, bed and pillows hard needs some TLC. Breakfast is basic but ok. Overall good value for the money.

When we arrived in Vietnam at the beginning of our trip, we stayed here and loved the hotel, so we decided to stay here again at the end of our trip, three weeks later. The staff is very nice and helpful. They upgraded us to a bigger room the second time we stayed here and offered to help arrange transportation to the airport They also allowed us to leave our bags at the reception after checkout. I really liked the transparency with which they handled everything. They tracked our luggage with a receipt. They also gave us a stamped paper copy of our payment for our stay. No other hotel we've stayed in Vietnam has been as transparent. The hotel has a very good location, although it is a bit hidden, since it is on a pedestrian street, is perfect because there is no noise in the rooms. Located in the French Quarter (Hoan Kiem area), it's possible to walk to the Old Quarter and practically all of the city's attractions. In both stays at the hotel the rooms have been spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is a bit scarce and is only served until 9:30. At night they close the main door but they always have someone from the staff sleeping at the reception who can open it. The value for money is good for the city of Hanoi.

We were upgraded to a bigger room at the top floor. Our only complaint was the wifi that didn’t really work.

The staffs were all accommodating and friendly. They allowed us to check in early once a room was already available. They provided us extra pillows when we asked for it. The room was really clean as well.

We had a trouble locating the area at first since it's kind of in an alleyway. The breakfast wasn't ready when we went down at 7am and it was also meh. The TV has no internet.

    - Quiet and central location - Spacious and nice rooms - Comfortable beds - Friendly staff

    - Very weird room design with hanging lamps above the bed (we ended up bumping our heads into them 2-3 times) - There were mattresses on the stairs of every floor, which raised concerns about fire exit safety regulations !!! - Simple breakfast - Awful coffee (I highly recommend Tornado Coffee, a lovely family-owned place nearby) - Bathroom needs some renovation (leaky sink and outdated facilities)
