A little old hotel

Around the hotel, the local atmosphere, nail shop, massage shop, restaurants and cafes were comfortable, and we were able to take wonderful pictures connected to the beach in its location. The breakfast was also good, and overall, it was cost-effective

Staffs don't speak much English, but we have Google translate, so no problem. The noise of the outdoor unit of the air-conditioner was quite loud.

We had lots of ants in the bathroom and found a few in our bed. We went to the local supermarket and bought some bug spray to deal with the issue. Bugs are to be expected on the island. The beach area attached to the hotel is basic, and in the evening you have to pay to sit on the bean-bags even if you're a guest of the hotel.

The hotel was affordable and in a good location with direct access to the beach, and plenty of shops/restaurants near by. The breakfast was okay. The island is recovering from COVID so I think many hotels like this one lack the funds to invest in keeping everything on-site fully operational and to a very high standard (they need more customers to generate the funds, so don't be too put off by bad reviews. If you want 5 star you need to pay much more elsewhere!)

If you travel low season, be prepare that the breakfast can be littlebit poor. Wich is understandable, as it is not profitable to make a buffet for only a few customers.

Friendly staff, nice manager. We took one extra night here! Pool was big and clean. Area is beautiful and quiet, good restauraunts and supermarket near by.

Upon arrival we were told that it was not possible to pay by credit card. Paying with dollars was possible, but with a ridiculous exchange rate. There was only 1 staff member who speaks English, further communication had to be done with the translation app.

They asked for 10% fee by paying with credit card, because of taxes, but taxes were already included in the booking price. Poor facilities and service on the private hotel beach. Poor breakfast and no restaurant or bar.

Friendly staff, but it was Impossible to communicate without Google translator. They allow us to stay after the check out time because our fligth was at night. Good bungalow near the beach and a good swimming pool.

Breakfast wasn't that great, even if they had boiled eggs and bread that would have made a difference. Although it says spa, and pool side bar, you cannot get any drinks throughout the day or night, you have to take a walk to the beach front bar about 3 minutes to get drunk or food.

A beautiful bungalow with a pool outside the door. Very close to the ZEN bar and walking distance to the beach front is about 3 minutes. Very relaxing and quiet. The room was cleaned every day

Very poorly maintained property. Main hotel building seems to be a furniture and bedding dumping ground. Floors and surfaces in common areas, breakfast room floor, patio etc require deep clean with hot water. The photographs on the website do not reflect the state of the property currently. Lots of areas where random items are dumped.

We rented bikes, and they were just absolutely crap. He gave us them and sent us on our way without a word. We made it 2 mins out the road before they died because there was no petrol. We hadn't realised because the dials on one bike were broken and the digital display and electrics on the other one were broken. Had to wheel them onto the sidewalk and go walking to find fuel. The man who helped us said our bikes weren't good enough to be on the road. They were junk. Very irresponsible to rent unsafe bikes out to tourists and not tell them they tank is empty.

Great location. Beautiful beach perfect for sunset. Loads of restaurants nearby, big room and comfortable bed.

Where to start. Overall we were disappointed with the resort. It used to have many of the facilities that we wanted and be in the condition we wanted but were now not there. I imagine that this has been caused by a lack of travellers to the resort and the owners not having the money to keep it up to the standard that it used to be prior to Covid. Several other resorts adjacent to this resort have had the investment and are in a much nicer state. So where to start. First there is no Spa and the gym is full of equipment that doesn't work and is completely full of rubbish. Our room safe didn't initially work (although they managed to fix this), some outside lights didn't work (fixed after 3 days) and the toilet seat was broken (fixed on day 3 but broke again day 5). There was virtually nothing by way of shelves for your clothes. The staff were a mixed bunch. Reception staff couldn't speak any english and the lead receptionist had a very unhelpful and unfriendly manner. the manager was much better and tried to sort out our issues but he failed to do a number of things which he said he would do. Cleaning, maintenance and breakfast staff were good. The sunbeds by the pool were very old and many did not work properly, same goes for the sun umbrellas. The area down by the beach is just a joke. there were three sunbeds and no umbrellas and the whole area had a look of abandonment. There is no entertainment or music of any sort throughout the day or evening and the pool bar (mentioned in the room information) was none existent. That said there was nothing fundamentally wrong, we were just very disappointed as our expectations were just not met. We were not the only ones with this view as two ladies arrived to an adjacent bungalow on day 2 but after one night they decided to move to s different resort as it was not up to their expectations.

We stayed five nights in a bungalow (rm 425) and that was nice and large. The bathroom was also a generous size. Swimming pool was large but the water could have been clearer. Breakfast every morning was mainly Asian but we liked it. WiFi (free) worked well. Our position was only 40m away from a nice sandy beach. The location is very good with some great places on the beach and there were many varied restaurants on the main road.

Generally the whole resort is very tired and definitely needs some development. The gym is gone, now being used to store broken air conditioners. The breakfast was a bit limited, with the same few dishes repeating every other day. It was a buffet though, so that was good. The worst thing was the surprise 10% card fee. I know a 3-5% card fee is normal but 10% is disgusting. As I stayed for 10 nights I actually paid for 11 nights.

Staff were pleasant and helpful and the location was solid, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The beach was close too, about a five minute walk from the back of the property. Room was a good size,

Second day we were out from early morning and came home late evening and found our bungalow door open like 30 cm, I spotted it from far. Probably left open by cleaning. After that we didn’t feel too comfortable. Breakfast was a lot of food. They did have noodles and eggs cooked on spot. Otherwise no signs on any food in the metal containers. They had put towels on the handles and from previous experience you’d think that means it too hot to touch but almost everything was cold. To pay with card they add 10%.

Wifi worked good. Beach close by with easy access from hotel. Staff at breakfast were nice and helpful even though no English was spoken. First night we had a problem with electricity in our room and went to reception, someone just about to leave helped and called for someone else and soon problem was fixed!
