Very comfortable and the staff were accommodating. We arrived in the middle of the night after a sleeper bus and they accommodated a check in at this time. They stayed up to make sure we arrived safe and provided us with many details about available tours. They gave us tips about various other trips and other secret little get aways around Vietnam. Very grateful for this experience and happy with our stay!! Highly recommended to stay here :)

What a great place to stay. The family running this place is beyond kind, generous and super friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great WiFi and delicious breakfast. I can’t recommend this place enough. Would definitely stay here again.

They let me in at 4am after a long night bus. They also booked a bus to hoi a for me and dropped me off at the bus station. Everything was very nice and clean. Highly recommend

The only small downside is that it’s a little outside the main town, but they help with arranging transport, so it’s not a big issue.

I had a really nice stay at Phong Nha Ecolodge Homestay. The family running it is very welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with anything from tour recommendations to transportation. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the surroundings are peaceful, making it a great place to unwind after exploring the caves. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though not luxurious—more of a simple, homely feel. The food was good, with some nice homemade meals. Overall, a great place if you’re looking for a friendly, family-run stay with genuine hospitality. Would definitely recommend it!

The loveliest family look after you and make you feel at home. Great sized room with a pool, free breakfast, hot shower for incredible value. A small walk from town, but loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. They definitely have the best selection of tours to book onto too!

The room was lovely and the location was great, a few minutes from the river and within easy reach of lots of restaurants. Hong and her family made us feel so welcome even inviting us to join for some beers and snacks over the Tet period. She also helped us with booking a cave tour which was great and bus back to Hanoi. Would definitely stay here again!

The weather was cold.

The owner was very helpful, helped me to book bus before TET holiday lockdown. Breakfast is twice the size of other guesthouses. It was very cold and owner let me stay in room until 9pm waiting for bus pickup. Owner refused extra money, good heart, thank you so much. It is great area to cycle around. Duck stop is highly recommended. Cheap barbecue restaurant in the market will fill you up. There is moto rental. Pool looks nice would have been great on hot day. One block from river many places to eat overlooking the river.

Owners were lovely, breakfast delicious. They booked me onto a very last min cave tour which was great. Very responsive on Booking.com and allowed me to arrive in the middle of the night at 3am. Comfy bed and excellent value for money!

We had a little misunderstanding regarding repayment,hotel owner realising the over charge after I left for Hoi An, promptly refund by transferring money to hotel owner in Hoi An so I only had to pay the difference for my Hoi An stay. I was amazed she work out a way to refunding my money. Thank you so much ☺️. Oh forgot to mention her husband picked me up from my 4 am arrival 🫶
