Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe menu was over priced for the quality of the food. A lot of dishes had very little meat and fattened up the plate with cheap veges or salads. We wanted to stay here longer next time we come back to Bali and looking for a resort we can stay in with babies but the menu here is the only turn off
Location, pool, room and staff were all amazing. We only stayed here in transit - kids loved the pool, good depth for babies. Staff were super helpful and room number was so comfortable with a bath as well which is great for kids

BelgiumThe room didn't have a lot of natural light but really didn't matter as we didn't spend that much time in it anyway. Also the bathroom has a little open window into the rest of the room so make sure you book with someone you feel comfortable with
The staff of this hotel is amazing. My partner and I ran into an emergency and they did all they could to help us out. We are eternally grateful. The location of the hotel is also ideal and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Even though we slept in the one facing the street , the noise never became too much.

SpainWe did not have hot water in the shower (somehow the boiler in our room did not work despite the ON switch). Our room faced the main road and it was a bit loud.
The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful, really lovely staff. The breakfast was delicious (especially the Vietnamese options). Location is perfect to visit HCMC, and the area is full of stores, restaurants, etc. Decoration of the hotel is beautiful.

LithuaniaIt's worth noting that the hotel is located on a busy and often noisy street, especially in the evenings. Because of that, I would highly recommend booking an inner room, which offers a quieter and more restful experience away from the street noise.
We had a lovely experience staying at La Memoria Hotel in the heart of the city. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially when it came to organizing activities. They assisted us in arranging a day trip to the Mekong Delta, which was well. The hotel is in a great location, with most of the city's key attractions, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. It made exploring the area easy and enjoyable without needing much transportation. The hotel itself has a charming atmosphere and provides a comfortable place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. It’s a great option for travelers who value convenience and attentive service.

AustraliaCan’t leave the aircon on when you’re out so it gets boiling in the room but does cool down relatively fast anyway!
Great location and good value for money. Breakky was nice and staff were friendly. A bit rundown and maybe not the best place for kids because the staff use the common areas as hang out zones in the evening and smoke etc but didn’t bother us at all. Would stay again :)

AustraliaSuch a cool designed hotel! We loved all of the little hidden terraces and overall vibe of the place. Our room was basic but comfy with good aircon and hot shower. The room could have used a little love as it felt a little run down but overall served its purpose and was a good little stay.

Italyits in district one but its not exactly in the center, its on a big road which is very noisy and trafficked. the pool is a bit sad. and overall it's pretty loud. it's a bit shady that they wont make up the room unless you put the little card outside, but i noticed its pretty common practice in vietnam. i would come back again for a 1/2 night stay.

ItalyMaybe we were unlucky but our room was extremely noisy. First of all from the constant traffic from the main road, but mostly from the very old AC unit which sounded like having a diesel generator in the room. Updating the windows and the AC would improve the experience a lot. The included breakfast was not very good.
Very nicely designed, with a kind of updated brutalist aesthetic that we liked very much. The colours and materials, though simple, are well chosen and pretty, especially in the pool area. The location is good.
