Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Saudi ArabiaIt would be even better if there were stronger English language proficiency among the team, as this would greatly enhance communication and improve the overall guest experience. The beach could benefit from more attention in terms of cleanliness. Additionally, some of the tours organized by the hotel’s tour desk do not adequately follow proper safety procedures. There should be a minimum standard of safety measures and equipment in place to ensure smooth and secure access for visitors to and from boats and marine attractions. I booked a boat trip but wasn’t able to participate in many of the activities due to the lack of proper safety measures and the difficulty of moving to and from the boats. The hotel is located quite far from the island’s main tourist attractions — possibly over 30 minutes by car — but it is conveniently close to the airport. Additionally, the hotel rates are relatively high compared to other hotels of a similar standard that offer better proximity to key tourist sites.
The hotel is beautiful, and so is the beach. It offers all the essential services a tourist might need, and the swimming pool is spacious and clean. The hotel also boasts lovely views from multiple angles. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and always welcoming to guests. he island, overall, is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful beaches, with a variety of activities and tourist attractions to enjoy. The hotel features a tour desk that assists guests in arranging different excursions and experiences, making it easier to explore the area. The Vietnamese people are friendly and warmly welcome visitors. Breakfast was good, but it would be even better if it included options that cater to guests from outside Asia, such as those from the Middle East, Arab Countries, and Europe.

MalaysiaBreakfast spread was excellent in variety. The main pool is large, and there are separate kids pool and water play areas, in addition to the beach bar pool. We also stayed in a 'cabana' room so had excess to our own semi private pool. Staff were always happy to assist and there is a buggy setvice to your room from the main lobby.

SingaporeWe stayed in a double bedded room. My daughter developed bites on her arms legs and face that looked like bed bugs. Both her and my husband had it from sleeping on one of the same bed. Something management should look into.
The breakfast was the best. A wide variety and was delicious.

CambodiaThe boats park next to the hotel beach, causing a thin film on the water surface plus black spots on the sand. Not pleasant to swim in the sea.

AustraliaGreat facilities and comfortable rooms. The sunloungers by the pool were extremely comfortable and it was great to have bikes available to use. Buffet breakfast was sublime, best we’ve ever had. Our check in experience was unfortunately quite soured by a gentleman that took to immediately abruptly questioning us to sign up to Accor program, without any level of detail on what it was, questioning us about why we did not have a credit card and that using our debit card to make purchases is risky at the hotel. Nothing was explained in any level of detail and left us not confident at all in anything we were responding to. This whole experience left us extremely uncomfortable and honestly quite shaken especially after just arriving in a foreign country. All other staff members were extremely pleasant however for a 5 star resort, staff directly engaging with guests should be able to communicate with basic English. The young gentleman working in the breakfast area, believe his name is Loo, always had the most welcoming smile on his face. He should be commended for how he makes other guests feel. Recommend the resort adds more shuttles to the town.

MalaysiaLove everything about the hotel...from the room to the swimming pool. The staff were friendly and courteous and speak good English. They also surprised my husband on his birthday with a cake delivered to the room. We love the clean hotel grounds with the beach. There were also free bicycles for rent and a nice cycling path at the beachfront. The hotel also provides free shuttle bus to the airport and downtown to Duong Dong. Breakfast spread was lovely and we love the freshly cut mangoes every morning. We also had lunch at the hotel, generous portion with complimentary bread. The location is about 15 minutes from town, so you get the quietness of the island with the hustle and bustle a Grab car away. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers especially those with young children...the pool is so huge and there was a bubble party at the pool on Saturday.

MalaysiaCommunication still a big challenge.
I like the environment, airport shuttle bus transfer provided, tip top service from housekeeping, reception, waiter and each of every staff especially Hoc (medical practitioner), who assisted us to bring my child that sprained her leg to nearby medical center for further checked up, where helped us to translate from A-Z.

RomaniaAlthough we loved our stay, there are some small things that could have been better: - guests should not be allowed to bring speakers and listen to their loud music on the beach, it was really disturbing, it should be a policy against that; - the bathroom door should be fully closed from the ceiling to the ground, not as it is now, being an open bathroom with glass door makes it a bit disturbing to feel comfortable in the bathroom; - waiters should come at least some times during the day to the beach to take orders, I know the beach bar is only some minutes away, but it is comfortable when you are relaxing at the beach to be able to order drinks; - the food at the Mad Cow restaurant is very expensive, even though is very good, it's still very overpriced, we've been for one month to top hotels in Vietnam and we know the prices; - please don't put the toiletries in the "anti-theft" system in the bathrooms, it makes it difficult to use them since they are blocked there, use small toiletries instead of using those blocking systems for the bottles.
We loved the hotel, the sunsets were amazing, the breakfast was one of the best we ever had, the room was spacious, the beach was really clean and with beautiful white sand. It was very convenient to go from the hotel to any part of the island, the Grab was always 1-2 minutes away.

United KingdomMy time at the Pullman was an absolute delight, creating memories I will cherish. The resort staff consistently went above and beyond, ensuring a perfect stay from start to finish. The breakfast experience was truly exceptional, with a remarkable selection of high-quality food that surpassed all expectations. The Breakfast Team (including Thai, Lingh, Nghia, and others) deserves immense credit for their outstanding service and genuine warmth, making each morning incredibly welcoming. The Mad Cow restaurant proved to be a culinary gem, a true flagship of the resort. Beyond the dining, the rooftop yoga classes offered breathtaking views, while the idyllic green lawns, swaying palms, and spacious, meticulously maintained grounds provided a tranquil and relaxing escape. I also had an amazing experience at the Pullman Spa, which I highly recommend to anyone staying at Pullman Phu Quoc.
