How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewStaff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean and small bottles of water were provided for free each day. There is a small but very clean swimming pool on the roof and only 5 minute walk from the beach making this a really convenient hotel to explore Da Nang.

Verified reviewEverything was so perfect that I was sad I only booked one night at this small but such an amazing hotel. Staff is next level friendly. The hotel is new as far as I can judge so facilities, rooms and public areas are fresh and immaculately clean. The triple deluxe room was spacious enough. The breakfast was good enough for my picky eating kids.

Verified reviewThe location of the hotel is great. Everything you need is nearby. There’s an excellent view of the city and a bit of the sea from the window. Street noise was not audible, but sounds from the corridor could be heard, though it wasn't critical. The hotel staff were always helpful and very polite. The bed linens and towels were clean, and the bathroom was good.
Very cramped room. The cleaning of the room was done very poorly, perhaps due to the lack of space, as our things were everywhere. The breakfast was meager, but you won't go hungry. Overall, it's not critical because there are many cafes and restaurants around the hotel.

Verified reviewProperty is located near the My Khe beach with steps away from many restaurants. Rooms are large and clean. They also offer complimentary breakfast with so many good selections of local cuisine. The staff is so friendly and helpful.
The beds are so hard for my preference (woke up with an aching back). Otherwise, I would rate our stay with a score of 10.

No towels to use by the pool or at the beach. Buffet breakfast was well below par and no power to the rooms once you left so you couldn’t charge anything and there was no air conditioning during this period so the room was hot upon return which was harsh as it was 40 degrees outside.

As for the electricity in the room, please note that most 3- to 4-star hotels in Da Nang use key card systems that automatically turn off power when guests leave the room. This is a common and energy-efficient practice. If maintaining power while you are out is important, some higher-tier (5-star) hotels offer the option of a second card for uninterrupted electricity during your absence. The staff who checked us in was not so friendly or helpful, but in the afternoon staff was very helpful, friendly and service with the smile. The room we booked had no window and it was a connecting room!!! and we only found out upon cheking in because it did not mention in the room description when we book it. The hotel should add more information about this Economy room.
Economy room is without a window and it's a connecting room. The hotel should mention this in the room description to avoid misunderstanding!

Verified reviewHotel was always clean with pleasant aroma, great location and hardworking stuff. Breakfast The breakfast was very tasty and varied. Designed for both Eastern and Western countries. I liked that the hot counter was changed every day with local specialties. The staff took care of cleanliness and immediately replace the food when it ran out. The chef was very nice, he personally checked the food and fulfilled our requests. We always enjoyed the breakfast. Cleaning service Was great, they cleaned the room and changed the towels every day. Rooftop pool Nice view, clean. I would add 2 more sun loungers, I think they would fit. Reception At the entrance to the hotel there was an active porter who immediately helped us with our luggage upon our arrival. At the reception we were met by wonderful English speaking staff, they welcomed us with a welcome drink and explained everything to us patiently. They also gave us tips for trips in the area. We were accommodated for 18 nights, so BIG thank to the staff for a great stay and experience. They actively always fulfilled our requests to our satisfaction, especially the receptionist.👍
