How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Considering it's a super deluxe room, a window would be nice. However, maybe I should have selected a different room.
Really friendly staff and helpful. Everything clean and working. Breakfast was lovely high quality beef noodle soup or eggs. Close to park / independence palace and easy walk to several tourist destinations. Kettle and drinking water in room when you arrive was a nice touch.

Using a key to the door. Broke the key.
Staff were friendly. Helped us with our key when it broke and didn't charge us. Gave us a spare room that that night no charge either. Superb staff service. Locations in the centre of everything. 15 minute walk to popular foods / markets in either direction

The services provided correspond to the description and photos on the website. The room was clean and comfortable. There were no problems. Overall, I liked the breakfast, a large and filling portion, but the coffee was very sweet. The location is great, only 6 minutes from the Russian Embassy.

The breakfast could be better but you get what you pay for.
It is a very convenient place to stay. Close to a lot of places. Good food just outside the hotel and many restaurants around. I also enjoy the park a few steps from the hotel

No window in the room made the room hot and humid with no fresh air. Breakfast service was only a bowl of soup or fried eggs with bread. Nothing else to offer, and needed to ask for a cup of coffee.
Room was adequate. Location was easy walking distance to local attractions in districts 3 and 1.

Breakfast itself wasn’t good. The room it was served in was dreadful. Didn’t go back the next day.

Non Asian breakfast is bad. Remember ssk cleaning if needed.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Bathroom was quite spacious by Vietnamese standards. Breakfast quite good except they wouldn't serve milk with coffee. Room was too small for a family of 4. One of the beds was uncomfortable, lumpy. TV and fridge didn't work. They also required me to pay on arrival which was the first time in Vietnam I had to do so. It was the most expensive of about 6 hotels that we stayed in in Vietnam and it was the worse. Very disappointing.

No tea bags / coffee in room. The shower over the bath so no good for elderly and infirm. The bath itself was missing the grill over the drain and obviously a plumbing problem as the water leaked out from under the bath shroud.
Good cheap little hotel, pretty close to everything, but not that close to Bin Thang Markets to be truthful. Nice relaxing park 80m away, highland coffee across road and some pretty good eateries around. The double bed is just 2 vey big beds pushed together (lol), but asked for and got a window (Room 403 at front)

It would be better if they could send daily cleaning without request. Internet 🛜 WiFi is not working properly somehow I used my mobile data and I can’t used my laptop at all. If this two things improve the hotel will be great 😊

Sounded like someone was running a laundry service sometimes well into the night virtually every night I wouldn't have expected to be woken up regularly in the night morning by someone doing industrial levels of laundry.
Wifi was strong and clear the whole week I was there

The receptionist wanted to see not only my passport but also the Vietnam visa. I checked in to many hotels in Vietnam. No one asked for a visa.
Extremely cheap, good value for money. Location is great, walking distance to Independence Palace

The single bed was unusable (a lumpy folding bed) and wasn’t changed although we requested it. As a result we shared the double.
