Hard bed on the first night

Pool was lovely. Rooms were clean and good value for money. First night the bed was super hard but staff moved us for the remainder of the stay which was good. Super quiet and relaxing. 10min walk to restaurants bit longer to get to a beach.

Serenity garden was so pleasant I mean it’s a walk to get the free bus. The pool and staff were very. Nice I walked to the night market in town! That was about 4miles. But if you walk to the main road from the serenity garden about 1/2 mile you can get the bus 17or 19 for free. I went into town a few times and the the San bay beach beautiful! And I mean beautiful I also went to the north of the island to starfish beach by bus then a taxi ride then food and a small boat ride to starfish beach beautiful and not to expensive for a full day out! The nice lady and man who run serenity garden and the staff all nice friendly people! And I respect them all I will return there place in my opinion was value for money! These nice people never stop working I respect that for sure! Also the nice lady booked me a taxi to the airport for 5am and I slept in my alarm did not go off! And the man knocked on my door and woke my up! I thank you so much I made it for my flight to Hanoi! . Also the place serves food and there is also nice restaurants a 5min walk away and shops chemist ect! Also the ong lang beach is a 10 min walk! And that is stunning! I’ve been to many beaches in Thailand! As well but the beaches in phu quoc! Match them! Any day of the week! I will return to Phu quoc and the tranquil serenity garden! 🙏🌍

Location is out the way - need to rent bikes or get cabs around if you want to explore the island at all Staff are indifferent at best with their demeanour - had double booked our actual room but did upgrade to accommodate us which was kind but done with reluctance Guests are really loud in early morning and evening staff don’t seem to care

The host is super nice and the price is great! The rooms are spacious and clean, and there are air condition in the room and hot water in the shower. The beach is 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel, and there are restaurants in walking distance. However, the pool was not very clean but I would still recommend it

On the downside, communication was sometimes challenging as the staff speaks little English. The breakfast could also be improved—it felt a bit repetitive and lacked variety, and some essential utensils were missing.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The hosts are incredibly kind and always try their best to help with any queries, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The room was comfortable and simple, offering good value for the price. I especially enjoyed the clean and well-maintained pool, which was a great place to relax.

The location is a bit far away from town or the south and not walkable. You need to rent a scooter to get anywhere. No kettle in our room even though advertised. Sunbeds need cushions, very hard and uncomfortable.

The reception staff were really lovely and friendly. The bed was comfy and the AC was nice. The pool is big and setting is lovely. The price is good for the area.

We were there 5days 4 nights, there was no room cleaning, no fresh towels, nothing and yes we did put out our please clean room sign every day. Bed was a bit hard for me, my wife didn’t mind it.

I had a wonderful stay at Serenity Garden. The place is incredibly beautiful and cozy, with a warm and peaceful atmosphere. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, which makes it very convenient, and there’s even a Reptile Garden within walking distance — such a unique experience! What stood out the most was the woman at the reception — she was always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. Her hospitality truly made a difference. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. I really, really loved my time here and I will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend!

We gave notice of our arrival time. We arrived at 6pm and asked to show the room, it turned out there was no electricity and we had to wait 2 hours for it to be fixed, and when it not happened we were put in another room. The woman on reception does not speak English. On all questions eyes rounded and said I do not know. Breakfast like nothing.2 eggs with bread. It takes 25 minutes to the sea through the dogs. Internet is terrible. It was enough only for 1 minute. You can rent a bike for 120 dong. We were only 1 night but no more.

The rooms are very large, clean, with air conditioning. Hot water is available.
