Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere isn't a lift here. We didn't mind it though as the staff helped us with our luggage.
The staff were incredible, they couldn't do enough to help you, whether it was booking a trip or giving you directions. A special mention to Rose who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very spacious and we had a nice view of the cathedral.

AustraliaIf the pool is important to you, it is good to note that it isn't located at this premises but at their sister hotel. As we went during the rainy season, this wasn't an issue for us. There is no elevator to the rooms but the lovely staff will bring your luggage up for you and will take it down upon request. They are always out front to help.
Staff were great as soon as we arrived and sat us down with some welcome drinks as well as offered some activity recommendations. We took them up on a ha long bay tour for $50 USD each which was similar to what we had seen online. They organized everything as well as the hotel pick up. The room was great and the location was perfect for us as it was still in the city centre but was away from the business. We got given a small favour on departure which was a lovely gesture considering this was our first stop in Vietnam, it was a great introduction.
