Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wifi could have been more stable
Sum and his family were very welcoming and did everything to make my stay comfortable, you'll get free water everyday, fresh towels and room cleaning whenever you're asking, very convenient. Room is spacious, I got a balcony and the bed was comfortable. They offer free laundry and bicycle. And their restaurant next door is very good for the price paid

The host was so friendly and helpful, he was genuinely so happy to assist with any questions. The rooms were lovely and large, with a big bed, good shower and good AC. There was access to bikes for free which makes getting around super easy. The property is situated only a 25 minute walk to the old town and just under an hour walk to the beach (or 10/15 minutes using the free bike). Additionally there was access to a free washing machine and plenty of room to hang drying. There was also access to free drinking water. Would 100% recommend.

The owner was very helpful and attentive. The room was super spacious. Very clean. I stayed 4 nights total in the end and they provided fresh towels, water, and soap everyday. The bed was comfy. TV worked. Good variable lighting. Lovely huge window. They offer free bicycles to borrow. Also can provide car rides to other destinations.

Host was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were excellent value for money. Even sorted the taxi to Ba Na hills which was cheaper than a grab👍

The location was perfect. Walking distance to paddy fields (3 minutes) and old town (20 minutes). Room was spacious and clean.

Location was great for Hoi An old quarter and An Nang Beach.The Host was lovely, very kind and helpful, we had free use of bikes to get around and, free laundry service, he sent transportation to collect us from airport and allowed us to stay longer in our room without charge.

Really friendly host. 20 min walk into the old town but they cam provide you with bikes. Big spacious room with TV and kettle. Fresh towels and water everyday.

The room was spacious, we were allowed to check in very early, everything was just great 👍 the restaurant next door has amazing food too. It is 20 min walking distance to the old city.

If you’re looking for cleanliness and comfort, this is the place. I extended my stay as I loved it so much. The room was super spacious and comfy, perfect for longer stays. The sheets and towels were so fresh and white, the host changed the towels everyday for me without asking and gave me more water bottles and soap every morning which was amazing! The bathroom is new, modern and clean. No weird smells or damage! There are free bicycles to use and washing machine for use! There’s also a kitchen area downstairs in a quiet and cosy lobby area. I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Excellent price/quality balance. The host is so very kind and welcoming. I got my leg injured at scooter accident during my stay in Hoi An, the host was so helpful and made my stay very comfortable. Very grateful.

I can't think of anything!
The host was really helpful and friendly, and his family worked in the restaurant next door so there was always someone there to help with anything. The room was nice and big and comfortable with fresh towels and water each day. The free of a bicycle was also a nice bonus.

It was a great stay. We felt very welcome and the owners are very kind. You can rent for free bicycles. So you need only 5 minutes in the Center and 10 minutes to the beach. We also could wash our clothings there for free. We would really recommend that stay. Thank you for all!

No hot water if you don’t shower early enough there was no hot water when showering late morning or in the evening.
Good location, 5 min easy cycle to the old town (bikes are free) and 10 min easy cycle to the beach. Room was spacious and clean and was given fresh towels and water every day. Owner was really nice too.
