Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHard bed, but this is common in Vietnam. It was quiet so I still slept well
I checked in at 1.00AM after arriving on a bus from Ha Giang and they were happy to accommodate the late check in. Spacious room, with en suite. Good location - you can walk into the centre of Sapa in 10 minutes.

South KoreaThe beds are a bit hard, and the hilly terrain can make traveling on foot slightly difficult. My room, while quite affordable, had almost no sunlight.
The lady behind the counter was especially helpful with any requests. She helped with getting reservations and transportation. She had a good English ability and was very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. It is relatively close to both the center of town and the Fanispan cable car.

United StatesThe room did not have AC, so leaving the door to the balcony (as we were instructed) was the only way to get airflow. This led to bugs getting in. The fixtures in the bathroom were old and rusted. The breakfast was basic & bland.
This was one of the only affordable accommodations during the Vietnamese reunification holiday. It was a decent place for a few days. They allowed us to leave our large packs with reception while we went to a homestay in the valley.

PolandThis was my best vacation to date! Very good location, not far from the Center, also quite close to the cable car. Check-in also works at night and is very easy. The room was spacious and very clean, I could even change to a better room. Breakfast was great and they prepared a small cup of coffee/fruit while I rested after the hike. Additionally, laundry service and WIFI are perfect

VietnamThe thing I liked most was the spacious room with a thick, comfortable mattress and a stunning mountain view, all in a peaceful location just steps from the town center
I had a wonderful stay at this charming 3-star hotel. The room was spacious, with a thick, comfortable mattress and excellent ventilation, making it very pleasant to relax in. I especially loved its location—just a short walk to the town center, yet surprisingly peaceful. The mountain view from my room was absolutely stunning. The hotel offers convenient services such as motorbike rentals and laundry, as well as a delightful coffee shop right on site. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave very helpful advice on local attractions and travel tips. Overall, it was a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

LaosIt would be nice if they don't smoke in the reception room, but i know it their tradition.
I like the view. The staff, they are kind and nice. The rooms are clean and the images are correst as they advertise. And they also give out free bottles of water every day. Also I don't mind about the rooms don't have air conditioner because up there are very cold.
