How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe room was squeaky clean. The location was very nearby to the beach and many food options. There were many spas and reflexology centres too. The front desk staffs were super friendly and very welcoming and they spoke very good English making our check in and overall stay pleasant. The 'sea view' from the room was good too. The breakfast option were also very good and we loved that they start serving at 6.30 as we started our day very early.
Nothing that I can think of.

Verified reviewThe hotel is in a perfect location right by the beach (about 200 m on foot) and also offers free beach equipment like towels. The staff were very helpful, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts, and the room was pleasant with relatively new furnishings. Overall, we really liked it here.

Verified reviewWhat I love most about this property is the location. Coffee shops are everywhere, and there’s even a laundry shop right in front of the hotel. The staff are very responsive, and the breakfast is really good. The water pressure is amazing, super strong! I love it!
It’s not really about the property itself but more about the bottled water we had to pay for. The staff insisted we took 5 bottles when in reality it was only 3. There was no way to win that conversation since they said they had a record, so fine, we just paid. Haha.

Verified reviewThe location is great, walking distance from the beach and restaurants. 15mnts by bike from a touristic site « Lady Buddha »
The toilet has a bit of drainage smell, they refused to grant me late check out by either 2 or 1pm. The breakfast is very basic.

Verified reviewRoom is just right for 2 persons. Be aware that beach-view rooms are facing bars/restaurants that blasts music until late night.
Floor trap is not enough for the smell in the toilet. Should have a spray or air-freshener provided.

Verified reviewReally sweet little hotel in Da Nang, on a cute street full of shops, spas, and cafes. A lovely area to explore on foot. It’s also just a 25 minute walk from the big night market, which is perfect for an evening out. Or take a Grab Scooter for extra fun! The breakfast was average (a bit dry) but they did have some tasty fried eggs, which hit the spot. Tip: Don’t book your taxi before checking out. The hotel requires a few minutes for housekeeping to inspect the room before you leave. Totally fair, but I booked mine too early, so just something to keep in mind. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for a night or two if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and well-located.

Verified reviewStaff was amazing, ready to help, very prompt to answer all the time; the location was amazing and the breakfast was vast and delicious!
I didn't notice at the moment but I didn't get the room that I booked. Yes, no windows, but no pool either. Also, the room was right outside the laundry area and the two elevators, so if you are a light sleeper, maybe make sure to be away from there, otherwise you'll hear the noise of the cleaning staff and the bells of the two elevators every two minutes.

Verified reviewThe hotel isn’t a boutique hotel it’s actually just a hostel with a different name on booking.com. They told just that the atm machine was broken so it was cash only but in fact told different travellers in front of us a different story. They then proceeded to tell us that we will get charged more money if we get makeup on the towels which were white.
Hi there, thank you for booking with us We are actually a hotel with 95% of rooms designed and operated with hotel standard, including the room you stayed in. The term hostel (in the Hotel and Hostel phrase) display on our signs related to a whole seperated floor with domitory style, dedicated to large groups of friends travelling together. We would love to clarify this rather than having you thinking that you stayed in a hostel standard room. Regarding the card payment issue, our POS machine (not the ATMs) is broken down and the process of having a new one provided takes about aweek. Although it is completely inconvenient, we made an effort to notify all upcoming guests in advance through messages explaining the situation. We apologize if the communication came across differently, and want to assure you that there is no reason that we not accepting card payment if the option is available. We also think it is better to inform guests about policies beforehand rather than talk about rules after something happens. For the towels, we simply aim to keep our facilities well-maintained for all guests, and the message is gentle reminder rather than a strict policy. We also provide cotton pads at the lobby for makeup removal upon request, as some guests may find that helpful. That being said, we are sorry that our place didn't meet your expectation. We do hope you have had a great time exloring our city. Regards The Glomad Team

Verified reviewGood location, very nice staff, cozy room with very comfortable bed and a stylish interior. The room was cleaned every day, had all essentials needed. The air contitioning and fan functions well. Shops and cafes all around. Overall - a very nice stay.
It is a little worn out, the doors of the clothe wardrobe were not funkctioning (rather falling out), so I just didn’t move them. Few things for cooking, but the food is so affordable in restaurants and cafes that you don’t really cook :)
